The Male Protagonist K*dnapped the Wrong Person - 11
Chapter 11 - "It's hard to tell"
Qin Zheng stared at the ground blankly, and didn't answer
her until Sang Ruo called out again.
He silently carried the water out and poured it out, then
put the shirt in a black plastic bag.
Sang Ruo found it strange that his expression was too cold.
Qin Zheng was covering her with his coat when he noticed
her staring at him, "What?"
Sang Ruo shook her head, laid down, and continued staring
at him.
After a while, she said: "I’ll go to sleep."
"Okay." Qin Zheng lowered his eyes and looked at
the home screen of his phone. There was nothing on it.
She refused
to sleep with her eyes uncovered, so Qin Zheng covered her eyes like yesterday,
and her eyelashes tickled his palms a little: "I'm here."
She obediently did not open her eyes again.
He looked at her face and thought he must be going crazy.
It's not as if he hasn't met any attractive, pure women in
the past 26 years; unfortunately, he has a short fuse and frequently grows
distant from them within two days of meeting them.
He has met all kinds of people and monsters, and he has
long understood the evil intentions in people's hearts. However, this girl has
a simple mind and he can see through her eyes.
He stretched out his hand and touched her face with his
rough fingers, only for a second or two, and then he immediately took it
back.
Unworthy, in every way.
Sang Rou was already asleep, her face buried in his coat
and flushed.
Suddenly, the man chuckled, pinched the soft flesh of her
cheek, and said, "I'll send you away tomorrow."
—
Sang Ruo rarely had a good sleep, but a woman's sharp
scream woke her up——
"You id*ot, you k*dnapped the wrong person!"
She rubbed her eyes and saw Qin Zheng sitting next to her,
with an unlit cigarette in his mouth.
He lowered his eyes and glanced at her, threw the cigarette
into the bucket, and said lazily: "There’s no water for you to rinse your
mouth."
Sang Ruo was confused and heard the woman say again:
"Hurry up and get Zhou Manlin for me!"
She blinked twice, folded Qin Zheng’s coat and put it on
her bent knees, tilted her head and asked him, "Zhou Manlin?"
Qin Zheng snorted and asked amusedly: "Aren't you Zhou
Manlin?"
He You, the legal wife, arrived at 6:30 in the morning. The
whole time she and her husband were married, the man had been having an affair.
He had an illegitimate daughter who was not much older than her. Now that he’s
divorcing her, she wants to get some sort of retribution. She decided to k*dnap
Zhou Manlin, the mistress’s daughter, for ransom money.
She was livid when she saw
Sang Ruo's face. Chen Da had been scolded by her for half an hour.
Sang Ruo avoided their gazes, feeling a little guilty and
didn't answer.
Chen Da was upset and waved it off: "This is your
fault. You said yourself that she’s going to be wearing a white skirt. All the
girls in that sanatorium look the same and I’ve never met her before. How do
you expect me to recognize her?"
He You was going crazy, throwing a bunch of photos at his
face: "I showed you so many photos, and you still got it wrong!"
Chen Da had a sullen face. His good temper was only
reserved for Qin Zheng, who was there for him since he was a child. He clasped
her hand: "You f*cking——!"
Qin Zheng stopped him, stood up, walked over, picked up a
photo, looked at it, and said slowly: "It's hard to tell who’s who when
they wear the same clothes."
