The Male Protagonist Kidnapped the Wrong Person - 53

Chapter 53 - "I'll go with Miss Sang"

Despite everyone knowing that they’re selling their daughter to save their company, this didn’t stop the Sang family from putting on a good show. They pretended to be loving and attentive in front of others.

A few days later, they asked someone to take Sang Ruo to meet the old man of the Yue family.

Most people would call it a blind date, but in reality, the buyer just wants to check the goods. He wants to make sure he's satisfied with her.

Sang Rou agreed without too much fuss. Her only request is for Zhou Manlin to accompany her.

In the car, Zhou Manlin warned her: "Don't try to harm me."

The Sang family monitored her closely. She didn’t have any chance to escape, but it’s different now. They’re going to in one of the high rises in the city center, though it can’t really be considered a public place, her chances are better there.

The two girls were surrounded by two bodyguards. Even though the marriage isn’t official yet, they didn't want to let their guard down.

Their marriage is the Sangs’ only lifeline. Sang Huai is not stupid and will never give her a chance to escape.

After reaching their destination, just when Sang Rou was about to say that she wanted to go to the restroom, the Yue family arrived.

The old man was forty-five if not fifty. His black hair was mixed with a lot of white. His complexion was pale and his body frail. Behind him were four bodyguards, all of them jacked.

Sang Rou was staring at one of the Yue’s bodyguards wearing a cap. His face wasn’t visible but something about his body was very familiar.

When the man came closer, even Zhou Manlin recognized him and was dumbfounded: Damn it, the lover of our soon to be married princess is lurking in the enemy's camp!

As soon as the old man of the Yue family sat down, he started to stare at the two girls lustfully. He was contemplating how he could get Zhou Li’s daughter to marry him too.

It was much more enjoyable to have two pretty girls serving him together than just one.

Zhou Manlin shivered and regretted coming to witness Sang Ruo suffer.

Before the other party could speak, Sang Ruo said coldly: "I need to go to the restroom."

She got up, but the bodyguards wanted to follow her. Zhou Manlin shrieked: "You want to follow a girl to the restroom?!"

The disgusting old man looked at her as if he wanted to eat her. She doesn’t want to stay here by herself.

Old Man Yue was also in a dilemma. He had heard that Sang Ruo had just been brought back, and he was afraid that she would try to run away. When the time came, the Sang family would play tricks on him, and he would suffer a huge loss.

He didn't trust the Sang's bodyguards either.

The man who had been standing silently spoke now: "Mr. Yue, I'll follow Miss Sang."

Old Man Yue waved his hand and agreed.

Zhou Manlin was shocked: "You——!"

The man raised the brim of his hat slightly, and a cold light flashed in his eyes, scaring her into shutting up instantly.

She grabbed Sang Ruo's hand and stammered: "You must come back soon, otherwise, I can't guarantee what I will say."

Sang Ruo smiled at her for the first time in more than ten years, and then turned around and walked away happily.

Zhou Manlin was left to face the old pervert alone.
