Chapter 32 - "Good girl"
From that day on, they haven’t seen Chen Da and He You,
probably busy formulating their kidnapping strategy.
Sang Ruo is now able to do all the work in the internet
cafe, and others praise Qin Zheng for having a good sister.
He was unhappy, as more and more people came to see her and
asked him to introduce her to them.
One day, Qin Zheng was sitting at the front desk and
received a message from Sang Ruo on his mobile phone.
The little girl just went to the toilet and hasn't come out
for twenty minutes.
"I'm on my period."
Qin Zheng was stunned for a moment, replied a few words to
her, then got up and went to the supermarket to buy sanitary napkins.
There was no one in the women's bathroom, so he pushed the
door open and handed them to her through the gap.
After a while, the little girl came out looking pale and
weak.
Qin Zheng was startled, supported her shoulders with his
hands, and asked, "What's wrong?"
Sang Ruo hunched over and held the hem of her skirt tightly
with her hands: "Menstrual cramps."
He picked her up like a child and took her back with a
sullen face.
He didn’t care about the store anymore. He left the
regular customers to help keep an eye for him.
He wanted to put her on the bed, and Sang Ruo held her
tightly around his neck.
Her lips trembled: "My skirt is dirty."
Qin Zheng looked down and saw blood stains on the white
skirt.
He held her in his arms and got new underwear, then asked
her to put on a sanitary napkin, took off her skirt, and stuffed her into the
quilt.
Her eyebrows were furrowed tightly and her body was still
trembling. Qin Zheng covered her eyes with his hand and said softly: "I’m
gonna go and buy you some medicine, okay?"
Sang Ruo stretched out her hand to hold him, sounding like she was about to cry: "Don't leave."
His heart suddenly melted. The little girl had never shown
such a soft expression. She was usually expressionless. When this sudden attack
came to him, he couldn't resist it at all.
Qin Zheng sat on the bed, tucked her quilt in, held her in
his arms, and asked, "Did it hurt like this before?"
Sang Ruo said "hmm" softly.
She looked at him longingly: "Cover my stomach."
His hand reached into the quilt, easily covering her lower
abdomen and rubbing it gently.
She looked much more relaxed, and her brows relaxed a
little.
Qin Zheng diverted her attention: "How did you handle the pain in
the sanatorium?"
Sang Ruo thought for a moment and replied, "There are
painkillers."
He smiled and teased her: "Then I will be your
painkiller now?"
She said "Yeah"
She looked so good like this. He couldn't help but lower his head and kiss her: "Good girl."
Sang Ruo was stunned and asked him, "Have you called
others that before?"
Qin Zheng was happy. It was said that women have mood
swings during their menstrual period. Unexpectedly, this girl became concerned
about his past affairs.
He didn't answer directly: "Who?"
She lowered her eyes, her palm-sized face looked unsatisfied.
Qin Zheng let her rest on his arm and stroked her hair with
his other hand: "You’re the only one."
He thought about it for a moment: "In the past, the
most I talked to women were through messages, and you were the only one who
dared to boss me around as soon as you met me."
"Are you satisfied, darling?" He pinched her
face.
Sang Ruo's eyes were a little red and she responded dully.
