The Law of Food Raising - 63

Chapter 63 - Yangyang

"Kavos is in war," a warrior reported to Samus.

"Okay." Samus closed the file and said, "Let's go, steal with me."

Warrior: "..."

Kavos internally split into two camps led by Della and Bronn. The Alliance Army existed in name only. Many forces returned to their own territories. Most of those who remained were just those who wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to seize Kavos.

The conflicts between several forces intensified, eventually triggering civil strife.

Samus' purpose is to "steal" people during the chaos and "disappear" during the battle. Generally, they will be regarded as dead or missing and will not arouse much suspicion.

He has a white list in his hand, and everyone on the list is his target to "steal". With his skills, he can travel around the battlefield without leaving any trace, and he can "steal" accurately every time. He can be called the king of thieves.

Most of the people Samus brought back were injured, and some were even in critical condition. Duoduo didn't plant any medicinal plants, so she could only temporarily use spiritual energy to stop their bleeding.

Fortunately, Samus got a lot of medicines the next day, and then all the injured were properly taken care of.

When the unconscious patients woke up, they found that the whole world was different. They laid on thick leaves, with a red flower as big as a basin hanging above their heads, and a few drops of "slobber" flowed out from the heart of the flower from time to time. Although the "saliva" smelled quite fragrant, if they recognized it correctly, the red flower should be a k*ller orchid. It can eat whatever it sees, and its "saliva" is very corrosive!

The injured jumped up one by one and quickly wiped the "slobber" off their faces. After waiting for a while, nothing happened.

"Don't worry, these orchids have been cultivated by Miss Duoduo. They have a pleasant fragrance, help you sleep, and won't hurt anyone." A soldier came over with food and explained with a smile.

"Miss Duoduo?" A certain injured patient's eyes widened.

"Yes, this is the manor established by Lord Samus and Miss Duoduo. You are welcome to join."

Lord Samus is here? The wounded looked around, seeing lush plants, overlapping leaves, various flowers blooming, colorful butterflies flying in and out, the sun shining down, dewdrops twinkling with starlight, they have never seen anything more beautiful.

Such scenery only existed in the lord's mansion before. Now, it is right in front of them and within reach.

The injured who were picked up by Samus, with no exceptions, all joined the manor and became loyal supporters of Samus and Duoduo.

Samus led the soldiers to build the manor every day, while Duoduo concentrated on cultivating D-level and above plants, and E-level plants were given to seven little rabbits. Although they cultivated weird things from time to time, in general, the results are pretty good.

It’s just that Duoduo has never restricted their cultivation locations, so places such as study rooms, kitchens, corridors, halls, etc. have been harmed by the little rabbits. Fortunately, the Rabbit Palace itself is like a plant forest. Even if the dining table turns into plants one day, it will not affect the overall style...

Time flies, and one year has passed before they know it.

The central manor has begun to take shape, the plantation has expanded five times, and the types and quantities of plants have increased exponentially. The E-level plants can basically meet the needs of hundreds of people in the manor, especially the little rabbits.

"How is it?" Samus walked to Duoduo and asked.

"It's still the same." Duoduo walked around the grafted branch of the Thousand Miles Tree. "Sure enough, it's not that easy to plant. I always feel like something is missing."

Since this the Thousand Miles Tree was planted, it has only grown 2 centimeters in one year, and it has not yet fully taken root. At this rate, it may not even become a tree in a hundred years.

Samus couldn't help much in this regard and could only comfort her: "Don't worry, you will always find a way."

Duoduo nodded, no longer worried, looked up and saw Yangyang sleeping on Samus' shoulder, and said, "Yangyang is lazy again."

This little guy is the laziest of the seven little rabbits. His biggest hobby is sleeping. He does it regardless of the occasion or location. He is unbeatable and does not look like a big brother at all.

Samus took him down, touched his back, and said with a smile, "It's normal for children to like to sleep."

"Really?" Duoduo took Yangyang from Samus' hand and shook it a few times without gentleness, causing his little ears to sway, which made Samus feel distressed.

Yangyang lazily opened his eyes, revealing a slit, and saw Mommy who was disturbing him, with a slightly helpless expression. He stuck out his tongue and licked her fingers, as if to appease a mischievous child.

Duoduo: "..." Inexplicably, she felt that her authority as a mother has been suppressed.

Samus suppressed his laughter and touched Duoduo's head: "Okay, let's go back, it's time to eat."

"Okay." Duoduo held the little rabbit in one hand and held Samus in the other, walking towards the Rabbit Palace.

When they turned around, neither of them saw a halo of light flashing across the distant branches, and Yangyang opened his eyes, revealing a pair of ruby-like eyes.

When she woke up the next day, Duoduo found that Yangyang was missing! She scanned the entire manor with her spiritual consciousness and found that he was sleeping next to the Thousand Miles branch. Duoduo ran over to get him back to the room, and told the other little rabbits to take good care of him to prevent him from being picked up by wild beasts.

The six little rabbits promised well, but in the blink of an eye they forgot about Yangyang. Who knows that this guy likes to sleep so much that he can't get up no matter how hard they drag him.

In the Rabbit Palace, there is no need to worry about the safety of the little rabbits. The problem is that Yangyang will run out of the Rabbit Palace every now and then and end up alone.

"I must find out what's going on with Yangyang!" Duoduo clenched her fists.

Samus sighed: "Is it really appropriate to say this at this time?"

They are joined together and exercising!

Duoduo sat cross-legged on his waist and asked seriously: "You don't find it strange at all?"

What’s even stranger is how you decided to bring this up?

"Let's talk tomorrow. I will keep a close eye on Yangyang." Samus spread her legs that were wrapped around his chest, turned over and pressed them down.

Duoduo pinched Samus' hard flesh and urged, "Hurry up, I still have something to think about."

"I can't promise that..."

A small moan soon sounded in the room.

After a while, Duoduo suddenly kicked Samus and said urgently: "Quick, let me go."

"What's wrong?" Samus bit her ear and asked casually.

"There's a situation." Duoduo pushed him away with great effort, jumped out of bed and ran directly out the door.

"Wait, put some clothes on!" Samus picked up his pajamas and chased after her.

Duoduo ran into the next room and looked at the place where the little rabbits were sleeping, and found that Yangyang was indeed missing. Just now, he seemed to be able to move instantly, and he disappeared into the room out of thin air.

"Where's Yangyang?" Samus asked with a frown.

"He should be at the Thousand Miles tree." Duoduo took her pajamas from Samus' hand and quickly put them on.

"Let's go and take a look." Samus picked her up and ran quickly in the direction of Thousand Miles tree.

"What is that?" Duoduo was surprised to see little lights all around the Thousand Miles tree, as if there were countless fireflies flying around. And Yangyang was lying under the tree, sleeping peacefully.

Samus paused, the energy in his body surged slightly, and he felt a strange familiar feeling in his heart.

Duoduo got down from his arms and walked slowly to Yangyang, carefully observing its changes. After a while, she said, "Yangyang seems to have some connection with this Thousand Miles tree."

Samus remained silent, squatted down, and unconsciously stretched his hand towards Yangyang. The moment his fingers touched him, the light shone brightly.

Both Samus and Duoduo are familiar with this kind of light, which is the precursor of the rabbit's transformation!

Sure enough, a dozen seconds later, a little baby over one year old appeared in front of the two of them. He has short light pink hair and a white snake-shaped birthmark on his forehead.

Samus looked at the child and was very excited. For more than a year, the little rabbits still showed no sign of transformation, which made him more excited and worried at the same time. Although the little rabbits are cute, he still hope that they can live like humans, at least without worrying about being eaten as food.

Now that he has seen a little rabbit turn into a human with his own eyes, his heart that has been hanging around has finally fallen to the ground.

Samus couldn't help but pick up Yangyang and touched his delicate little neck, overjoyed.

"Transformed." Duoduo was also quite surprised, "Is it because he kept staying near the Thousand Miles tree?"

"How about building a tree house here and staying here for a few days every month?" Samus suggested.

"That's a good idea." Duoduo agreed.

At this time, Yangyang woke up, opened his sleepy eyes, and looked at his parents in confusion.

"Yangyang, come on, call daddy." Samus teased.

Yangyang stretched his limbs comfortably, showed a sweet smile on his face, and then with a flash of light, he turned back into a rabbit.

Samus didn't think anything, he just thought the situation was unstable, but Duoduo discovered something strange. This kid could control his transformation freely! But he didn't show any abnormality at all before.

"Shall we go back?" Samus stood up and said.

Duoduo had no objection.

In the next five days, Samus led people to build seven small tree houses near the Thousand Miles tree. They were close together, independent and connected to each other. From a distance, they looked like a group of mushrooms.

The rabbits were very excited. They each used their own talents and planted flowers and grass to decorate their small tree houses.

Duoduo planted supernatural plants around them to form a protective area where the little rabbits could rest and play.

They don’t know if it’s because of the arrival of the seven little rabbits, but the Thousand Miles Tree which is barely growing, is finally showing signs of growth, and the bare tree trunks faintly reveal a bit of vitality.

Except for Yangyang, the other little rabbits showed no signs of transformation. Duoduo guessed that the opportunity for each rabbit to transform might be different.

But Duoduo can't think about this for the time being, because she is pregnant again!

Samus whole body was not feeling well. He had obviously taken protective measures! How did she get pregnant? It's not that he doesn't want children, but he's worried that it would be too much for Duoduo. Seven little rabbits already took up a lot of her time. If seven more were added, would Duoduo still have time to rest?

Samus expressed concern about this, but Duoduo didn't care. She waved her hand and said boldly: "Didn't we agree to build a family? How can we build a family with too few members?"

Only then did Samus understand what Duoduo's so-called family was all about. For the first time in his life, he experienced this sour feeling of pain and happiness...

Big Sister: Not sure if you've mtl'd before but a lot of times the pronouns are all over the place. I'm so happy the little rabbits appeared at the last stretch coz I can't imagine keeping track of their genders.
