The Male Protagonist K*dnapped the Wrong Person - 5
Chapter 5 - "Go to sleep."
When it was time to go to bed, the young lady made trouble
again. She stared at Qin Zheng with her big black eyes: "I want to take a
bath."
Qin Zheng finally lost his temper at this moment, and after
hearing her words, he said angrily: "How dirty can you be if you don't
wash for one night?"
The young lady was not happy, she pursed her lips and stood
there motionless.
Chen Da broke the news: "There’s no hot water here and
it’s only for a day or two. Just wait until your family comes to ransom
you."
She lowered her head, not sure if she heard or not, but she
was standing there, as stubborn as a cow.
Qin Zheng glared at Chen Da: Look at the trouble you’re giving me!
Chen Da smiled distressedly: Money is hard to make and sh*t
is hard to eat.
Qin Zheng had no time to argue with her. He stood up to go
back to the car to sleep. Unexpectedly, a small hand grabbed the corner of his
clothes, and her tone finally fluctuated: "I'm afraid of the dark."
His anger that was simmering down was about to rise again,
but Chen Da quickly packed up his things and said quickly: "Brother Zheng, we've been working all day, I'm going back to the car first."
He finally figured out that this rich lady was interested
in Brother Zheng, and he happened to be a big boss, so let's try to match them
up.
He ran away in a flash, and Qin Zheng looked at his back
with dark eyes.
He lowered his head and glanced at the little girl:
"Let go -"
This time she let go of his hand obediently.
She kept staring at the ground, her eyelashes fluttering
like a fan, her small nose was slightly wrinkled, and she looked very
dissatisfied with this place.
Qin Zheng sneered, and when he saw her white straight
calves, he remembered that the little girl hadn't sat down for several hours.
He held her arm and looked at it. How come you’re so thin?
Qin Zheng used force to pull her onto the mattress that
Chen Da had just laid out. The little girl couldn't resist the man's strength
and was pulled to sit on it.
She was about to stand up again, but Qin Zheng held her
shoulders and said in a threatening tone: "Sleep."
Sang Ruo's eyelashes trembled and she started staring at
the ground again.
Qin Zheng had a headache. He really couldn't understand why
a young lady from a wealthy family had so much trouble.
They arrived at the abandoned warehouse at around four, and
only a few hours had passed. Qin Zheng was reading stocks on his phone, and the
time passed unknowingly.
Before going to bed, he was itching to smoke and wanted to
go out. When he looked up, he saw Sang Ruo hugging her knees, her white and
tender face resting on it, and her eyes staring blankly outside.
He frowned, thinking that this girl didn't seem very
bright. He coughed lightly and asked, "Don't you want to sleep?"
The little girl ignored him.
Qin Zheng secretly scolded himself for being nosy. Why did
he care whether he sleep or not?
He found a raincoat and spread it on the ground, turned his
back to her and closed his eyes.
He wasn’t worried of her running away. In this wilderness
with the girl’s fear of the dark, it would be much more dangerous if she ran
out.
The sun rose early in summer, and Qin Zheng woke up with a
frown as the dazzling sunlight shone on his eyelids.
He scratched his hair and turned to look at Sang Ruo——
Hold.
The little girl was still in the same position before going
to bed, as if she hadn't slept all night. The exposed skin was pale from the
cold, and even the pink lips were chapped.
There were blue-black spots under her eyes. She was
obviously exhausted, but she just refused to sleep.
Qin Zheng walked over, pulled her and laid her down. He was
not a gentle person, but her thin arms and legs made him unconsciously use less
strength.
Sang Rou was lying down but her eyes were still open.
He covered his hands on Sang Rou’s eyes and said firmly:
"Go to sleep."
