The Divine Beast Record of The Dragon Sons: Yaizhen - 4

Chapter Four

"Competition... competition... to recruit a groom? What is it?"

Shenwa didn't understand the literal meaning, and she didn't understand why Yaizhen went up to the stage and fought a few more times and flattened a few people. Then he was surrounded by a large group of people and entered the room. He said "Uncle" from the left and "Uncle" from the right, and poured tea and water. Desserts are served as guests of honor.

"Don't ask, it's important to escape." Yaizhen made up his mind and grabbed Shenwa who was about to reach out to grab a pastry, preparing to use magic to escape.

"Why do you want to get away?" She broke away from his big hand and stubbornly insisted on getting the cake. She had never seen anything so delicate and small, and she didn't know how it would taste.

"Warrior competition is a big trouble! Let's go first, and I'll explain it to you slowly later!"

"Big trouble? I don't think it's troublesome. There's tea to drink and something to eat." Shenwa savored the pastry. It tastes so sweet and tender!

"You--"

"Second Young Master Long." Wu Weiwen, the head of Wujiazhuang, entered the reception hall.

What a tragedy, I missed the opportunity to escape.

It’s all caused by that stinky ginseng who’s long-winded and likes to ask questions!

"Second Young Master Long?" Wu Weiwen, who received no response to his first call, spoke up again.

"...huh?" Yaizhen responded blankly.

Wu Weiwen was well versed in the informality of people in the world, and could not imitate the behavior of scholars. When he decided to recruit a son-in-law through martial arts competitions, he had considered the various types of people who would eventually enter the palace, and their scornful attitudes were just the basic reaction of a proud martial artist who was arrogant.

"Is Long your real name? Or is that the first in the family?" Wu Weiwen sat down, picked up the warm fragrant tea served by the maid and sipped it.

"It is." You don't have to be too honest with humans, just half-truth is good enough.

"How many brothers and sisters are there in your family?"

"Nine sons."

"All sons?"

"Yes."

"I'm envious of your old man. In order to have a child, I spent all my money, tried every god I could worship, and tried every medicine I could take. I didn't get a daughter until I was fifty. Your Long family is so lucky to have nine sons in a row." Wu Weiwen said this. What he said from his heart was that his biggest regret in this life was that he could not give birth to an heir to the Wu family.

Shenwa listened carefully, not because Wu Weiwen was interesting, but because she forgot to ask Yaizhen about this kind of family history. It turned out that he had so many brothers.

"My father would probably love to trade his nine sons for one daughter." Nine rebellious and untamable evil sons are not as good as a delicate pink apple.

"It's always hard to be contented. After you have a son, you want a daughter... So, who's the little girl next to you?" Wu Weiwen did not ignore the Shenwa, especially the fragrance of ginseng all over her body. How could he ignore her.

Yaizhen completely forgot to include Shenwa in his family tree so he made up a story: "Because my father likes to have a daughter so much, he adopted one." The lie did not turn red or breathless, only Shenwa wrinkled her nose secretly with dissatisfaction.

"If he wants a daughter, wouldn't it be better if you and your brothers got married earlier? I would be envious to have nine daughters-in-law." Wu Weiwen asked Yaizhen.

Yaizhen smiled and did not answer.

Wu Weiwen casually asked some questions about his family background, teachers, parents' names, and clearly felt that Yaizhen did not answer sincerely, and some of the answers were even more ambiguous. He should have had a dusty impression on his future son-in-law, but he was previously amazed by Yaizhen's extraordinary performance. His martial arts skills were still vivid in his mind, and he was even more aware that this young man had not yet exerted his full strength. Based on his love for talent, he did not show too much dissatisfaction with Yaizhen.

However, his only daughter's future happiness was at stake, and the origin of her betrothed man could not be left ambiguous, so he tactfully probed: "Where did you come from? Xijing?"

"Very far away." Tens of thousands of miles under the sea.

Can he be less evasive? He can't even tell him where he lives? As a father, he can't even know where his daughter is marrying?!

"...You didn't answer me just now. Where do you live? Or should I ask, how does the Long family make a living?" Wu Weiwen's tone was strong, and he would not give up even if he couldn't find the answer.

"Sea." He was reluctant to say the word.

"Sea?" The first thing that flashed through his mind was that they were fishermen, but this thought was immediately overthrown by the aura of  Yaizhen. Then he thought about the job most related to the sea, and couldn't help but take a breath. "Are you... a pirate?" Wu Weiwen was quite surprised. Although all tr*ffickers and lackeys were qualified to challenge in the ring, the notorious sea rebel had no right to marry his precious daughter!

Yaizhen doesn't admit or deny. He simply let Wu Weiwen draw his own conclusion as he pleases. He's waiting for a certain hungry ghost to finish the two plates of sweet cakes on the table. After eating and drinking, he will leave. Talking to the old man is just a waste of time.

He glanced at Shenwa who was eating delicious food while blinking a pair of curious and confused bright eyes to observe Wu Weiwen and what he was talking about. It was rare for her to be so quiet and not interrupt, her pink mouth was busy chewing.

If it was up to him, he would immediately use magic to transport himself and her to another place, that way he wouldn't have to endure Wu Weiwen's questioning, all for her satisfaction!

It's so strange, every time he looks at her, he feels like she has become more feminine in both appearance and charm. Where was the little androgynous being who turned into a human in Tianshan Mountain?

Wu Weiwen finally got angry. He slammed the cup on the table, knocking the lid over and shattering on the ground.

"Nephew Long, why don't you seem happy at all to win a big victory in a martial arts competition? If you are not sincere, why did you bother to compete? Marriage is not a trivial matter, it's a very important thing for my Wu Chengfeng."

"I missed the word 'recruiting' and thought it was just a competition. I have no intention of ruining your family's affairs. Why don't you just do it again? The ring outside hasn't been dismantled yet." After Yaizhen said that the door of the reception hall was thrown open.

The young girl in a neat riding attire is full of arrogance. Her thin eyebrows are tightly knitted and her face is livid.

"Where is my future husband?" There is no shyness or awkwardness that normally occurs when meeting the husband for the first time. There was no soft whispers or coquettish smiles, only gnashing teeth and barking.

"Feng'er! How could you break in like this?! Where are your etiquette?!"

Wu Chengfeng was not afraid of her father scolding her. She had been pampered and loved since she was a child, and he had praised her to the point of being lawless. The servants in the house secretly called her "the little b*lly". Her eyes were fixed on the two strangers in the hall, a man and a woman. She quickly came to Yaizhen in a few steps, with one hand on her hips and the other pointing at him with a whip. "Are you future husband? You even defeated Uncle Chu?!"

Uncle Chu is none other than Chu Can, the first coach in Wujiazhuang. He is Wu Weiwen's youngest adopted brother. The Wu family regards him as a relative. He is over forty years old and has not yet gotten married. At this time, he is standing stiffly outside the hall. Yaizhen had some impression of him. In the ring, this man had indeed fought with him a few times. He was the most powerful person among those who practiced martial arts with him today.

Wu Weiwen specifically asked Chu Can to check if the character and appearance of the final winner could match Wu Chengfeng. If it didn't, there was no need to show mercy and asked him to join the field to eliminate any undesirables. He would not allow his precious daughter to be promised to any random man. Chu Can's martial arts skills are steady and solid. Looking at the whole town, Wu Weiwen should be the only one who can equal him.

Logically speaking, Yaizhen passed all their criteria, and the external conditions were all excellent. In the end, he won. Chu Can should be happy to see his success. He, who loves martial arts and is crazy about it, can't help but fall in love with this young man. What he didn't expect was that he was defeated in five moves.

Yaizhen didn't bother responding, he was lazy, and he even disliked Wu Chengfeng for talking nonsense. If he didn't win, why would he need to sit here and let others force him to confess and scold him?

"You are cheating! You must be cheating! Uncle Chu will never lose to a guy like you!" Wu Chengfeng accused him.

"Nonsense!" This retort was urgent and loud, mixed with a few mouthfuls of sweet cake crumbs sprayed together. It wasn't Yaizhen defending himself, but of course it was the human-shaped ginseng baby." Yaizhen will not cheat! He relies on his strength!" Shenwa was short and proud, speaking for Yaizhen.

Yaizhen walked around the human world under the pseudonym "Long", and Shenwa called out "Yaizhen". Although the people in Wujiazhuang didn't react for a moment, they just thought it was his nickname or a nickname commonly used by his family, and didn't ask any further questions.

"My Uncle Chu is one of the best in the city. He has never lost in a competition with anyone in his life!" Wu Chengfeng was half a head taller than her, looking down at her with a look of disdain.

"Feng'er... your father defeated your Uncle Chu, have you forgotten..." Wu Weiwen's voice was like a small wave in the sea, swallowed up by the stronger and faster tide behind it, and was submerged in the barking of the two children. .

"Yaizhen's ability is even higher. He is the best among the masters. He deserves to win!" Shenwa was not convinced. How could a dragon lose to a human in a fight? Although it's quite shameless to b*lly the weaker ones, Yaizhen has shown mercy. Otherwise, this city would have been long wiped out, swept to the ground by the dragon's tail swing!

She was so dedicated to protecting his reputation that she even stepped between him and Wu Chengfeng, using her short stature to build a high wall and not allow Wu Chengfeng to show her arrogance towards him.

She didn't understand why she was so angry. When she heard the unreasonable accusation from the delicate girl in front of her, she was more angry than Yaizhen!

"Not so good! I, Wu Chengfeng, will not admit that he is the son-in-law of Wujiazhuang! Unless he beats me!" Wu Chengfeng became impatient, and the whip in her hand came faster and harder than reason. Before she could finish her words, she whipped up the snake-like whip towards Yaizhen.

"Feng'er! Don't mess around -" Wu Weiwen and Chu Can yelled at the same time, but it was too late.

The whip hit Shenwa first. Yaizhen reached out and pulled Shenwa into his arms. She staggered and fell on top of him, his strong arms stretched across the front of her face to protect her from Wu Chengfeng's attack.

The dragon scales on his arms are hard blocking the whip.

"Stop!" Chu Can took the murderous weapon away from Wu Chengfeng's hand and frowned, disapproving of her behavior. "What is wrong with you?! Apologize!"

"I... I..." Wu Chengfeng was frightened by Chu Can's stern look, her grievance and unwillingness rushed up her nose, her eyes watered, she pursed her trembling lips, and suddenly burst into tears, shouting, "I don't wanna marry him! Don’t make me marry—” She turned around and ran.

After an awkward silence, Wu Weiwen could only shake his head and sigh when he saw that a happy event had ended like this.

"Chu Can, go look for my daughter and scold her. Her overbearing temper should really be restrained. We pampered her too much and made her lose all control." He looked at Shenwa's left cheek. There was a whip wound on her porcelain skin. Although it was not deep or long, the skin was still broken and filled with blood. He was full of guilt. "Miss Long was accidentally injured by my little girl. I failed to discipline her properly. Lu Qian, hurry up and get the medicine."

"You got injured?!" Yaizhen pulled her body over and stared at the scar. Among the many weapons, the long whip was the most difficult to guard against. He thought he had moved quickly enough, but he failed caused a bloody wound on her fair cheek.

Anger burned in his eyes, and Shenwa could feel the anger coming out of him... no, he was furious. His pupils glowed with a cold blue light and became even sharper. His monstrous fangs were slightly exposed, she instinctively hugged his neck without giving it any thought, using her body to cover his face that was about to lose control and reveal his true form.

"It's just a small wound! It's not very painful. I didn't even notice it. I thought it was just a gust of wind. It really doesn't hurt, Yaizhen, don't be angry, Yaizhen... Yaizhen -" She softened her voice, and then kept calling his name over and over gain until he calmed down. Yaizhen closed his eyes, and then opened them again, the blue light disappeared.

The maid, Lu Qian, brought the medicine and wanted to apply it to Shenwa. Yaizhen pushed the bottle away and refused outright. He picked up Shenwa and started to leave Wujiazhuang, ignoring Wu Weiwen's call behind them.

He can use magic to cure the wound, no human medicine is needed. All he wanted to do was find a place to treat her wounds, and he didn't want to stay here for a moment longer.

"Are we leaving?" Shenwa's arms were still around his neck.

"Yes!"

"But, I want to stay." Her answer was beyond his expectation.

He frowned and looked at her.

"I have never stayed in a human home. I only tried staying in the inn, with small rooms next to each other. It's so boring. But this place is very beautiful, with such a big garden and pool. I want to live there and see..." Besides, she still hasn't figured out what a contest to recruit a groom is? She only understood 20% of their conversation. She really wanted to understand why Yaizhen was angry and the Wu girl didn't seem to be happy either...

Having already taken a step out of Wujiazhuang, he abruptly turned around and went back.

"Guest room." Yaizhen who returned to the reception hall had an ugly expression on his face. Wu Weiwen was also confused, wondering why Yaizhen, who had just made it clear that he was leaving, came back again? He immediately ordered Lu Qian to take the two of them to the guest room to rest and discuss the marriage again tomorrow morning.

When Yaizhen walked away with Shenwa in his arms, a doubt in Wu Weiwen's heart became even bigger——

The relationship between this father and adopted sister is too good, right?!

First, the adopted sister was angry that her brother was being slandered and started barking at Chengfeng; then the brother reacted strangely when he saw that her adopter sister was slightly injured, and now he is hugging her with a defensive attitude that is unwilling to let go. She didn't hurt her foot... …

This behavior is very similar to a pair of... lovers?

The red wound disappeared without a trace when Yaizhen's long finger slides over it, and the tender skin returned to its original flawless smoothness.

Yaizhen repeatedly confirmed that the wound no longer existed before he was willing to stop.

"Human beings shouldn't be able to heal their wounds overnight, right? So if they ask me tomorrow, how should I answer them?" Shenwa touched her pink cheeks, and the wounds disappeared completely, leaving only the warm glow of the magic in her cheeks.

Yaizhen snorted coldly: "Never mind them." He didn't care how humans would react when they saw the wound miraculously disappear. He only knew that he hated the existence of that wound and would not allow it to stay on her delicate face any longer.

She looked at his taut handsome face, still filled with anger, and knew that he was angry, but she didn't quite understand who he was angry with.

Her?

"A wound will not destroy any of my medicinal properties. You don't have to be so nervous that you lose your temper." She deliberately laughed brightly and joked about it. She looked relieved and smiled, but she didn't expect that as soon as she finished speaking, he gave him a look that was so stern, causing her to swallow back her laughter.

"You think I'm mad because of this?" He asked, his voice was very deep.

"Otherwise I can't think of any other reason. When you saw the small wound on my face from the whip, you almost turned into a dragon. You could tell at a glance that you were very, very, very angry.” Shenwa recalled his extremely angry look in the reception hall, and after much thought, she still felt that damaging any of her ginseng properties was the only reason.

She heard the sound of Yaizhen taking a deep breath, which made her anxious. When he exhaled, he also exhaled his objection:

"I wasn't thinking whether the injury would affect the efficacy of the medicine." Yaizhen raked his long hair, looking exasperated.

"Huh?" Shenwa received such an unexpected answer. She was so surprised and confused that she couldn't react for a long time.

"How long are we going to stay?" He waved his fingers in front of her. Come back to your body, stup*d ginseng.

"Then... then why are you angry?" Shenwa was even more confused.

"If I knew, would there be any need for me to dwell on it?!"

"You don't even know?" She blinked, "No way," she said, scorning his slowness, but she also wanted to understand. If he wasn't worried about the medicinal properties of the spiritual ginseng, why would he cause such a scene? It’s worth looking into.

"Is it because the woman holding the whip questioned your abilities, which was detrimental to a dragon's ego? Your anger accumulated bit by bit, and it reached its peak just when she took out the whip and wanted to hit you?"

"I wasn't even listening to what she was barking at."

Moreover, there was a little figure in front of him at that time. Wu Chengfeng's reprimand or provocation did not enter his consciousness at all. In front of him, he only saw a thin and slender back, warm and earthy clothes, occupying all his sight, and the rich fragrance of ginseng. It's so sweet that you salivate when you smell it, but it can't quench the hunger and thirst in your throat...

Of all the dragons, he ranks first in terms of martial arts. When Dragon Bone City encounters a war, he is always at the forefront. No had ever dared to protect or defend him in an almost humiliating manner. She thought she was so capable and brave, and wanted to help him resist enemies, but she failed to think about herself - she was weak and incompetent, and she could only cry and scream when things happened; she was not smart or wise. She is intolerant of fighting and has no powerful magic to defend herself. She always puts her hands on her hips and boasts about how nourishing and delicious she is... Just because she's a spiritual ginseng, does she think she's invincible?

Her shoulders were so small, and her arms were so thin. Even if she spread her arms and flapped them with all her strength, they couldn't turn into wings. And to think she was trying to stand between him and the crazy child? He was laughing so hard. With her thin and slender figure, she could barely block half of him. If the whip directly hit him, he had dragon scales to protect him and couldn't hurt him at all. But what about her? A body with thin skin and tender flesh, and a few soft ginseng whiskers that didn't even hurt when she tried hitting him on the face. Was she planning to transform into a ginseng to fight Wu Chengfeng?

He almost wanted to sneer at her.

Want to protect him? She had to practice for more than ten thousand years!

But, at that time, he actually smiled, like a fool, looked at her back, and laughed softly!

A sweet taste emerged in his mouth at that time. He felt tempted to blurt out, "You have had enough fun, hide behind me, and let me handle the rest" - it doesn't feel bad, after all, he has never protected anyone personally. The scene was unfamiliar, but not repulsive; he wanted to slap her on the back of the head, and wanted to scold her for being careless, but he didn’t hate it...

Wu Chengfeng's whip broke his deep smile and inexplicable joy. She hurt Shenwa, how dare she hurt her——

"Why are you...in a daze?" Shenwa approached his face habitually, and her exquisite and delicate facial features were suddenly so close to his face.

Her slender eyebrows were raised slightly, and he could clearly count how many thick black eyelashes she had. The dizzying fragrance was still lingering in his nose. If her next words hadn't interrupted him, her scent and pretty little face almost made him fall into a trance.

She said: "I heard her say you were cheating. I was so angry. I watched your every move very seriously in the audience. I didn't miss a thing. The human males were as weak as bugs, you won without using any tricks!" She was very confident about this.

"Then why are you angry? She accused me of cheating, not you." He asked her the reason for her anger. In the hall at that time, she reacted fiercely, faster and louder than anyone else. Why?

She didn't expect him to ask such a question, and was slightly stunned for a while before replying to him matter-of-factly: "Because what she said was wrong." Yaizhen didn't win with cheap moves, he relied on less than 10% of his strength.

"I'm the one who should be angry. You, a ginseng, jumped out with all your teeth and claws, as if she was insulting your reputation as a spiritual ginseng... To be honest, what does it have to do with you?" Yaizhen asked, imitating the pattern just now with his fingertips when he was treating her wounds. He slid his fingers across her soft cheeks. The previous time it was to wipe away the wounds, but this time... it was purely out of his control.

"I just wanted to help you vent your anger." She only thought that the wound on her cheek had not been completely healed, so he would touch her like this.

"Why do you want to help me vent my anger? I'm an evil dragon who wants to capture you and make soup. You should be happy to hear someone express their grievances on your behalf and share the same hatred with her. Why do you want to help me vent my anger?" There's something a little bit aggressive about it.

"This...this...I can't figure it out..." She hesitated, unable to explain the reason, and she was indeed confused about it. Why does she find it infuriating and intolerable when others scold Yaizhen, making her even angrier than him? She herself often quarreled with Yaizhen and scolded him with some random bad words. Is she the only one allowed to scold Yaizhen and would not allow anyone to compete with her for this kind of fun?

"Were you in a daze at that time?" Yaizhen took the words she had said sourly to him and returned them to her unchanged, word for word, but without a mocking tone, instead he had a gentle smile.

"No! After all, the two of us have been together for so long - in fact, it's only been almost three days - I think after deducting a hundred of your shortcomings, you're a pretty decent person, and can almost be called 'very caring'. It's fun to argue with you... We should be friends, right? Isn't it acceptable to be angry on your friend's behalf?" The conclusion that the two are friends may also explain that her behavior is not abnormal.

The word "friend" made Yaizhen frown.

He thought about her answer, and at the same considered if this justifies his actions as well - because he was her friend, he van be angry when she's hurt, right?

No, he doesn't think so.

Friends? He could remain indifferent even when his brothers were injured.

If you can't even dodge a whip, it means you're weak and incompetent. You should practice more seriously - this is what he would say if the same thing happened to his brothers and friends.

But when he saw that she was injured, he couldn't control himself. He was as angry as if his most beloved thing had been broken into pieces...

His beloved thing?

It was like a sudden breeze blew away the dark clouds covering the moon, and suddenly it became clear. After endless doubts, I found a consistent answer.

Looking at the pink face in front of him, he felt helpless and powerless.

How could it be her?

How could it be a spiritual ginseng?

How could it be someone who's neither male nor female?

Just because she said "I want to stay", he returned to Wujiazhuang and gave up his face and pride for her when he had clearly already stepped out of the house and ignored the Wu family's calls.

Just because he didn't want to ruin her mood.

Her interest and his face were put on the scale together, and they were so seriously tilted.

When did she execute this villainous plan to turn him into this mother-in-law character?

When did she start to have such a strong influence on him?

"Why... why are you staring at me like that?" Shenwa felt his eyes light up, and the face that had contained residual anger a moment ago was instantly replaced by a smile. It was as if the eternal problem had been solved, and he became refreshed. And after feeling refreshed, he looked at her frowning again, how rude!

She couldn't tell what his gaze meant. It was so hot that it was commonly known as "glaring"!

"You dare to think of me as your friend. I'll hang your ginseng plant upside down and dry it!" He crossed his arms in front of his chest and threatened her with a vicious voice.

Shenwa had always been soft-spoken, but when she heard his threats, she felt angry in her heart.

"What do you mean?! I'm not qualified to be your friend?! Just because you're a dragon, you think I'm no better than a twig?!" She's qualified!! A lot of people wants to be friends with a Lingshen. What kind of attitude does he have?!

Shenwa became so angry that she couldn't hear the other meaning in Yaizhen's sentence, and she almost choke him in anger: "Huh! If you don't want to be friends, who cares! From today on, I don't want to talk to you. You don’t need to take me to go shopping either. Just take to Dragon Bone City and make me a soup!” As she said that, she transformed back into a ginseng, and the big ginseng laid slumped on the bench, making up her mind not to transform back to her human form. Sister, don’t talk to him, close your eyes and let him do what he wants.

The words of severance were very heroic, but the precious ginseng's tears fell in the corners of her eyes one by one on the ground, soaking the corners of her whiskers.

D*mn it... d*mn it... d*mn it! At this time, the stup*d thought that Yaizhen would get a bottle to catch her ginseng tears to replenish his body flashed through her mind!

I’m so angry with myself! Why should he care about his health and everything going well?!

His breath came closer, and the hot breath brushed over the ginseng leaves. The next moment, her random thoughts and unspeakable silent curses were shaken to pieces by the dexterous tongue sliding from her temples to the corners of her eyes -

She was so shocked that she couldn't believe it.

"You are so reluctant to waste a few ginseng tears in vain, aren't you?!" All the ginseng whiskers were mobilized, attacking the man who was holding her in his palm and licking away the traces of her tears with his tongue.

Yaizhen licked the ginseng from the top to the ginseng's feet, and then back again. What was in the dragon's mouth was no longer the hard ginseng body, but the soft back of a little girl.

"The feeling of licking a ginseng just now was so weird. This... feels much better." His voice was so low that she could hardly hear him. All she knew was that after he finished speaking, he smiled deeply and his hot breath came back to her cheeks.

She was no longer in his palm, but sitting on his lap. The overbearing hand behind her back pressed her against his chest. His tongue was circling under her eyelashes, sucking away the last trace of tears. Her sensitive eye sockets wander around, just like when the light green flowers on her head bloom and emit their fragrance, the naughty butterflies are attracted and absorb the sweetness among the flowers, with gentle and gentle movements...

She vaguely thought that she was in a deep grassland somewhere in the Tianshan Mountain. There were flowers, butterflies, and warm sunshine around her. However, the butterflies would not touch parts other than the stamens of the flowers. From under her eyelashes, they continued to expand the area they reached, right at the tip of her nose, eyebrows, and pink cheeks are dancing gracefully; but the sunshine in Tianshan Mountain is always warm, and will not make people feel hot - the feather-like eyelashes slowly opened, and looked at him intently, this is not Tianshan Mountain, there are no flowers and butterflies. There was only him beside her, a proud dragon who doesn't even want to be her friend!

Shenwa's misty eyes widened in an instant. She punched him with her fists, pushed him away, and didn't give him a chance to sip her precious tears. She didn't want to help him replenish his energy and health, no, no, no, no!

The two soft little fists were easily wrapped by his big hands, and then they were put under his arms and clamped tightly. No matter how hard she tried, she could not pull away. Just when she was about to yell at him why he was holding her hands captive, Yaizhen stopped her of curses.

The word "you" was only half spoken when he leaned forward, opened his mouth and took her soft lips into his, swallowing up her voice and exclamation.

The tugging force on her lips as Yaizhen sucked and smacked her lips was not too strong but it definitely couldn't be called gentle. She was vaguely aware that he was greedily trying to take something from her mouth, but she didn't quite understand his purpose. He couldn't be thinking the her tears are not falling fast enough, so it would be easier to just suck them directly from her mouth?

"Well..." She squirmed hard and moved hard, but her head was held tightly by him, and she couldn't move even an inch. She could only let him sip every drop of "ginseng juice" in her mouth, but - he squeezed his tongue in. It's really too much to come in and stir it up!

He carefully explored every inch of softness inside her lips, chasing her weak and trembling tender tongue that was unable to resist. He held her chin, unable to bite him hard, which allowed him to move freely and plunder to his heart's content. Her taste was so sweet and fragrant, the taste of ginseng permeated her lips and tongue, just like tasting a cup of warm ginseng tea, with a sweet aftertaste, especially since she couldn't find any weapon to fight back against him, so she could only push him away with the tip of her tongue. ——She was the only one who thought it was rejection, and she didn't realize that it was a kind of stimulation to him.

He deliberately pretended to be defeated, luring her to attack him impulsively. Sure enough, when he retreated, she pursued him aggressively, jumped over the trap with one tongue, and became a prisoner of war in his mouth. He didn't allow her to escape and sucked deeply on her bud-like lilac tongue.

Poor Shenwa, her hands were imprisoned, her legs were weak, her head and chin were clamped, and her lips and tongue were about to be swallowed by the evil dragon. She began to feel dizzy, and felt that her lungs were aching due to lack of air intake. She felt that what he was doing to her now was sucking her power badly. Otherwise, why would her entire ginseng plant be so soft and weak that she could only rely on him to hold her steady?

She still has...one last trick...she can release the poison that k*lls both her, the spiritual ginseng and the evil dragon who just wants to suck her dry——

No, she can't bring herself to do it. Although he is so bad, she can't forget the sight of him taking her everywhere... He will occasionally ask her impatiently to walk faster, ten times. Eight times she ignored his urging and just kept playing and watching. Are there any bad consequences for disobeying him? No, he didn't use brute force to drag her away. He just stood there, standing where she would see her whenever she raised her head or looked back, waiting for her.

Knowing that she's still afraid of getting too close to most humans, she's both terrified and fascinated to join in on the fun when walking in busy streets. He will use his superior figure to protect her and block any unwanted human contact. She never has to worry about falling into the arms of a stranger when she lies back with sore legs, because he's always by her side.

She doesn’t want to hurt him... She can’t do it... She is a very useless ginseng, ugh...

Shenwa was determined to die. She would not blame him even if he let Yaizhen suck her dry. When she was almost weak and fainting, Yaizhen withdrew his insatiable demands on her, and kissed her slightly parted lips. After repeated pecks, he was finally willing to leave her lips, suck the delicate skin of her neck, mark some small pink petals to leave traces of his visit.

Shenwa's panting and delicate posture, ready to be ravaged and slaughtered, adds to her feminine charm. The original androgynous look has been completely turned aside. No one will mistake her for a boy. She squinted her eyes, breathed out messily, her face was as red as tomatoes. She was so charming that she tempted him to take off her thin clothes and grab her plump soft breasts——

Unfortunately, they don't exist .

The creamy skin is genuine, but what’s missing is the plump, snow-white mountain peaks.

A bucket of ice water poured down his head, which was probably how Yaizhen felt at this moment.

If she were a woman, he could enjoy playing all kinds of flirting tricks on her soft body and teach her her first taste of the joys of the world. She was so innocent, so it would take some effort to teach her, but it would be fun,  a challenge. If she were a man, he can make some adjustments.

By using the method of having fun and following other tricks, he could still make her share the joy of being intimate with him, but alas, she was neither a male or a female.

Yaizhen rested his head on her soft and fragrant naked shoulder and couldn't help but sigh.

"You have to...squeeze me dry until you can't squeeze out even a drop of ginseng juice before you're willing to put me in the pot, right?" Shenwa finally regained control of her breath and dizziness, lowered her head, and questioned Yaizhen lying on her body. From time to time the hot breath of long and short sighs would caress the sensitive and itchy skin of her neck.

Yaizhen raised his eyebrows and met her eyes. It was really difficult for him to show tenderness and good mood, especially when his desire was awakened but not satisfied.

"I really want to eat you, but it's a pity that even though you're as small as a sparrow, you don't have all the internal organs. You don't have what women have, and you don't have what men have either. You leave me helpless and I don't know where to start." Another sigh.

"Is it so hard to eat a ginseng? Don't you just slice or ground us into powder..." She muttered to herself, not wanting him to hear, lest he think she was encouraging him to eat her.

She doesn’t understand either. Is gender important when it comes to eating ginseng? Why did he sound so disappointed with her that she has no gender, and why did he dislike her so much that he moaned again and again?

Of course Yaizhen heard it. He had a good ear.

Her innocence and simplicity towards his evil thoughts should have made him feel ashamed, but he was thick-skinned, so he didn't seem to reflect on it. Instead, her nagging and whispering made him laugh, and he moved from her shoulder. He looked at her with a smile and squeezed her still pink cheeks, squeezing her pretty face into a twisted and wrinkled bun. As a result, her little mouth pouted into a strange shape, and she could only make a whine of protest——

"My friends and I used to test whether a sword is sharp enough, whether our fists and feet are strong, and to compete with each other in martial arts. If you want to be my friend, remember to grow taller, stronger in the next life... Don't think too much in this life." He did not forget to explain to this petty and angry spirit ginseng the little misunderstanding between the two of them. She thought she was not good enough to be his friend. She was crying in anger right in front of him.

"I...don't..." She retorted with a pout and a frown on her face, and was immediately squeezed out of shape by his palm again.

"I don't need a weak friend of your kind, like flowers, grasshoppers and butterflies. So we're not suitable to be friends at all. Do you agree with this?"

Shenwa didn't nod, but she agreed with his words in her heart.

She really couldn't put Yaizhen together with her cute and kind-hearted flower spirit and grass monster friends. He was too different from them. Because of his crazy love for swords and weapons and his martial arts and aggressive nature, she would definitely not go near him. If Yaizhen hadn't caught her, she would never have had the chance to interact with a dragon like him in her life, let alone become his friend, or even an acquaintance.

She would instantly hate a guy like him who's full of murderous and domineering aura. How can she be willing to get close to him? But now, she not only regards him as a companion when traveling in the human city, she relies on him in everything. When she encounters danger or something new and interesting, he is the first person she wants to call; when she hears people slander him, she gets so angry that she's ready to fight them to death. He was about to suck her mind dry with his mouth, but she was not willing to hurt him...

"If we couldn't be friends, what could we be?" From the limited vocabulary she knew, it was difficult to find a description that could represent the current relationship between them.

Yaizhen thought about it very seriously.

"A very green and hard to swallow ingredient, and a glutton who must carefully consider which part to start eating."
