The Divine Beast Record of The Dragon Sons: Yaizhen - 3

Chapter Three

"Woooooooo..."

The cries of resentment were uninterrupted, as if years of accumulated bitterness had been condensed, and it could only be expressed through sobs with all its strength. It was unbearable to see how aggrieved, pitiful, and b*llied it was.

"Woooooooooooo..."

Still crying.

"Woooooooooooooooooooooo..."

Intensified crying.

The cloth bag was untied, and the man who had committed violence on it showed his face, giving him a cold look that said, "You can really cry." He rubbed his ear. His expression was impatient. The ginseng mellowed down to sobbing, but when it saw him, it cried louder in protest, showing its retaliation: "If you don't give me a way to live, I won't let you sleep well."

Yaizhen didn't threaten it to shut up, nor did he stuff a piece of rag into its mouth. He just watched it cry and watch it shed tears.

"W-what are you looking at? Have you ever seen... a ginseng cry?"

"I've never seen a ginseng cry before. It's fascinating." Yaizhen pulled out the right half of its arm from the red rope and suddenly stuffed its hand with something. "Hold it by yourself. If you want to cry, keep crying. Remember to put your tears in it. Don't waste any of it."

With tears in its eyes, the ginseng looked at the palm-sized round jade vase in its hand, then stared blankly at the man who had just rested and was about to lie back on the bed.

"What's this?"

"Bottle." He lay down on the soft bed, the sun was fragrant and warm, and it smelled so good.

"Why did you give me a bottle?"

Yaizhen laid on his side, supports his head with one hand, and closes his eyes. "The tears of ginseng should be very tonic, right?" Ginseng tears are also a kind of ginseng juice, which is hard to come by.

"Of course! Everything about a ginseng from head to root is precious, even the water in which we soak our tentacles and feet. Drinking a bowl of it every day can prolong your life. Good things like ginseng tears only require a few drops, and stir it in your tea. Stirring it up is more effective than chewing hundreds of ginseng branches." It hummed and laughed proudly.

"You're right. It's a pity to waste precious things. Go ahead and work hard to fill the bottle. I'll take a few sips from time to time to moisten my throat and replenish my body. Go now. Why are you standing still? Cry." He waved his hand, motioning it not to be lazy.

"Why should I cry for you to drink?!" Its only free arm angrily threw away the bottle. When he woke up, the ginseng no longer felt like crying!

"Anyway, you've got nothing to do. Once we return to Dragon Bone City, you'll enter the cauldron. After that, we're never gonna have the chance to collect it. You should seize the time and cry a few more bottles." He really conjured up five more jade bottles and gave it to the ginseng. Six bottles, does he want me to cry until I turn into a dried ginseng? This dragon is too horrible, too despicable and too much——

It angrily wiped away its tears and stopped crying.

"You really don't want to continue crying?" He sounded very regretful.

"Humph."

"I don't mind you yelling and screaming. I've casted a spell in this room so that your piercing cries can't be heard outside. You can vent as much as you can, cry as much as you want, shout loudly, and most importantly remember to save your tears for me."

"I won't let you succeed! I'm not crying anymore!" Humph! I'm not gonna give him what he wants!

"As long as you don't cry, I can sleep well." No matter what the ginseng does, he's the one that ends up reaping benefits.

"I won't cry, but I won't let you sleep either! Let me go, let me go, let me go, let me go -" It wants to cause trouble, and it won't give him its precious ginseng tears!

Yaizhen was too lazy to get out of bed, so he stretched out his arms, and the ginseng was pulled by a strong force, and fell into his arms. He held it close to him like a rag doll.

"Are you sure you're not a girl? All the instincts of female creatures that I know are clearly visible in you. You love to cry and scream, and you never seem to be quiet." Yaizhen was tempted to strip the spiritual ginseng and confirm.

"I already told you spiritual ginsengs don't have genders. I'm not a girl! Nor am I a stinky man! I am a spiritual ginseng! Don't touch me - stop - don't tickle me - stop flicking my whiskers - stop touching them —don’t touch it —it will break, it will break, I will break—”

The ginseng was thoroughly touched. His rough fingers finished wandering over the spiritual ginseng, but he did not feel the bumps and undulations that a female body should have. He opened the two ginseng legs and did not feel any male body bulge.

"When you're in your human form, it's hard to tell whether you're male or female. You look like a little boy who hasn't grown up yet, more like a young girl. If you're given a set of men's clothes, you'll become a boy, and if you're given a set of women's clothes, you'll become a girl. Its completely amazing.” He plucked another ginseng fruit from its head and ate it.

"I told you to stop plucking my fruit. It hurts! How about I peal a piece of dragon scale and you'll know how painful it is!" It had just went through the humiliating checking. The depressed Lingshen immediately regained her energy and barked at him out of anger.

"When you transform back into a human form, you won't be like a ginseng, without all the things you should have, right?"

"What should I have?"

"Women's breasts are the bane of men."

"Are you deaf? I'm neither a boy nor a girl, why do I need to have breasts?!"

The ginseng liked calling him deaf. No need to be polite to a dragon who wants to eat it!

"Show it to me." He had never seen the physical mysteries of human-shaped spiritual ginseng in his life, and he was quite interested.

"No!" Lingshen turned away.

"Once we're in Dragon Bone City, you'll be cut into ginseng slices. I won't be able to satisfy my curiosity."

The word "ginseng slices" made its face turn pale with fright, and the tears that Lingshen had been holding back flowed out uncontrollably.

"Wait - don't waste it!" He immediately took the bottle to catch it.

"You bad guy!" It waved its weak right whiskers, trying to swat his hand away. "I'm here miserable and you just want to replenish your body! If it were you who would be eaten tomorrow, how would you feel? You keep talking about ginseng slices and ginseng soup. D*mn, hate, hate, hate -"

"Okay, stop squirting juice——"

"It's precious ginseng tears!"

In Yaizhen's eyes, it was just ginseng juice, and the ginseng smell was so heavy that the room was filled with the strong ginseng aroma.

"...I'm not willing to accept it...I've worked so hard to become a master through cultivation. I've been buried in the soil for a long time. Now I finally have the ability to come out for a breath of air, and I can run and jump away from the soil, and you just want to make some a soup, woo woo woo, I’m not willing to give in – I’m going to turn into a poisonous ginseng, I’m going to poison you all, woo woo woo… What are you doing?! Are you taking my tears?!”

"Go ahead and cry. I'll catch it. It's all leaking out anyway."

"What kind of beastly talk is this? I'm not willing to accept it..."

"Okay! Stop! I'll change the bottle. This bottle is full. Go ahead."

"Do you think you're milking a goat?!" Stinky man! D*mn Longzi! It didn't want to cry anymore. It forced the tears back into its eyes.

"I wonder if drinking a lot of ginseng tears can increase one's skill by a few decades?" he asked.

"More than just decades of skill? Do you know how nourishing a spiritual ginseng is?! Weak people who are not strong enough can't eat too much -" Why am I telling him the benefits? This stinky man will definitely not miss the opportunity to drain me dry!

Seeing it pursed its lips and held back tears in annoyance, Yaizhen laughed rudely. The ginseng hit him with its soft ginseng whiskers.

This ginseng is really interesting.

"Tell me what I need to do to make you close you eyes and act like a good ginseng, so that the medicinal effects of your body will remain intact when the time to make soup comes." Yaizhen asked in a good mood.

"Who would be willing to close their eyes? Don't even think about it!"

"Instead of dying gnashing your teeth, it's better to die with satisfaction. As long as your request is not too outrageous, I will treat it as a good deed, fulfill your final wish, and give you a good death." Such kindness was something he had never shown to anyone since he was a child. He was neither a kind-hearted person nor a soft-hearted person who was willing to make exceptions.

Because I can’t bear to hear its shrill cries, can’t bear to see it full of fear, can’t bear that its death is approaching but it doesn’t want to be reconciled as it said...

Can't bear it?

I think I'm using the wrong term.

Let’s use “pity” instead.

I pity it, so I'll give it a little warmth from the world and fulfill its final wish before it dies.

"Let me go." is the ginseng's only request.

"It seems like your disrespecting my kindness. Go to sleep. We will go back to Dragon Bone City tomorrow for business." Yaizhen laid down, and as soon as he closed his eyes and was about to fall into his sweet dreamland, he heard it cry out.

"Hey, hey, hey -" it called out hurriedly, but he seemed not to hear it. He snored softly, and its ginseng tentacles pulled at his thin armor. "Why don't you untie the red rope on my body? I... I want to go to the human city for a few days. I once heard the birds who have been to the human city say that it’s extremely lively, there’s food, fun and theater to watch. You take me there, after I’ve seen it, I’m willing to let you make me a soup.”

Horizontal is death, vertical is also death, leaving some fresh memories before death is worth living as a ginseng for a lifetime.

It has indeed heard Queerjiao mention the human city, and has become really curious. Unfortunately, the ginseng never had the courage to wander into the human city alone. Its strongest impression of humans is that they are a group of scary people who love to eat ginseng. Especially men - of course! No creature likes to pick ginseng more than humans! It has never encountered a tiger or leopard that would search the mountains and valleys for the scent of a ginseng.

Yaizhen remained silent. He probably thought its request was too outrageous.

The ginseng was disappointed and stopped voicing out its request. He probably doesn't care. Why would he care whether a ginseng has resentment, regrets, or is afraid of death? In his eyes, a ginseng is just a kind of medicinal material. It deserves to be cooked. The joy, anger, sorrow, and joy of the medicinal material are nothing...

It sighed quietly.

"You might as well end me with a kn*fe. This kind of waiting for death is torture. Didn't you say that you would go home tomorrow? K*lling me now or later doesn't matter. Okay. I'll count to three, you take action, but - you have to strike at 'two', so that I'll die unexpectedly, and it should... not be so scary..." This request is probably too much. It does not seek life, it only seeks a good death.

Yaizhen slowly opened his eyes and looked at the ginseng. This move was regarded by the ginseng as agreeing to its request for death. It took a deep breath, and then closed its eyes tightly. The dangling ginseng tentacles covered the eyelids, trembling violently, and completely fearful. Exposed to the outside, the sound of "one" is shaking.

"One...two..." The "two" was dragged out so slowly, giving him enough opportunity to make a move.

The ginseng felt the pain in its body.

But...it's not as painful as it imagined, as if it's just another piece of fruit being pulled off the top of his head to eat. Yes, it's that kind of pain. It turns out that it's exactly the same as the pain of breaking off a fruit...

"Are you satisfied with just going to the human city? I thought you would be more greedy..."

His voice, mixed with laughter, spread into its ears.

It’s so strange that even if it’s dead, it can still hear him talking and making fun of it. What a hateful man, he won’t let it go in peace even after it’s death.

"Anyway, we're already in the human city, staying at an inn. You should get enough sleep and think about what you're going to do tomorrow." This time, Yaizhen laid down and buried himself deeply into the soft pillows. He hadn't had a good night's sleep in the past few days, and now he was finally able to catch up on his sleep. After saying that, he went to sleep, leaving the ginseng plant alone who thought it died. It took it a while to come back to its senses.

Huh?!

Huh?!

I'm...not dead?

It extended its tentacles and feet and sure enough its still in one piece. It slowly opened its eyes and saw that the thin curtain on the bed was fluttering. Then it glanced to the side, the man's  sullen sleeping face had lost its domineering murderous aura and teasing bad nature, leaving only laziness.

It seems that it's really not dead, but it clearly felt pain just now. Although it's not a very terrible and severe pain. It's the same pain when Yaizhen picked its fruits twice before -

Ah! Sure enough, he pulled out a ginseng fruit again and ate it! One of the ginseng tentacle touched the top of its head and one of the bright red round fruits fell out. He's despicable! I told him not to pull it out and he kept on——

It was stunned, and the ginseng tentacles that wanted to hit him stopped in mid-air.

Does this mean he agrees to take it to the human city?

Did he just... say that?

It tried hard to recall his words... It seemed to be true. He said that he wanted it to get enough sleep and think about how to play tomorrow...!

By "playing", he probably doesn't mean the kind of "playing" that involves throwing it into a pot and boiling it, right?

It stared at Yaizhen for a long time. It couldn't help but think wildly. There were too many thoughts swirling in its mind. For a moment, it believed Yaizhen's words, but it was too good to be true.

After crying all night long, the ginseng also felt tired, and with frightened and uneasy speculations and fantasies, it finally lost the battle with the God of Sleep, and rested next to Yaizhen's arm, falling into a deep sleep.

Its ginseng tentacles are very much like the little hands of a baby, and its arms grasp Yaizhen's arm tightly without letting go.

Then, it had several dreams...

It’s hard to tell whether it had a dream or a nightmare. Although it can’t escape the thrilling process of being cut, chopped, and boiled into soup, there's also a story of it happily admiring the moon and humming, laughing in a carefree mood——

In the dream, Yaizhen is always there.

* * *

"You want to visit the human city in the shape of a ginseng?"

Yaizhen untied the red rope wrapped around the ginseng's body. In order to prevent it from escaping, the red rope was tied to the top of its head. Everything was ready. The spiritual ginseng was filled with joy and excitement. As Yaizhen was about to walk out of the inn door, the ginseng called him back.

"Is it really okay?" It turned back to look at him. He shrugged and said nothing, letting it open the door with difficulty and step out -

Yaizhen secretly smiled...

"Wow - what is that? Am I seeing things? I think I saw a ginseng walking in the corridor of the guest room!" Then there was a commotion outside the room, the door was knocked open, and the pale white little ginseng body was panicked. It ran back and pressed against the door, its tentacles, leaves and fruits shaking violently.

"Bang... Boom... Bang..." It was so frightened and had just been chased by dozens of people.

"Hurry up and change into a human form." He said mockingly, already predicting what happened.

It hesitated for a moment until there was a knock on the door behind it. It quickly obeyed and transformed, ran to Yaizhen and hid behind him.

"Excuse me, sir." The waiter outside said in a breathy and polite voice.

"What's the matter?" Yaizhen asked back.

"Just now I seem to have seen something running into your room. I'm worried that a cat or dog may have broken in and disturbed your rest." The waiter asked directly, "Have you seen a plant?" He really wanted to say "A screaming ginseng", but he can only inquire tactfully, after all, he could have mistook the cat for a ginseng. If things go wrong, the inn will become a laughing stock.

This guest room... the smell of ginseng is so strong, dozens of times stronger than the ginseng shop, and it floats out through the crack in the door.

Yaizhen opened the door, smiling broadly. "You mean this, right?" He took out a small, malnourished, dried and flat ginseng plant from his pocket - an illusion created by his magic.

"Was this the ginseng I saw running awhile ago?" The waiter was surprised.

"Are you wondering how this ginseng can move?" Yaizhen tossed the small ginseng to the waiter and said with a smile: "It's my girl here who's too playful and tied the ginseng with a silk thread to make trouble. I'll give her a good lesson later. I bought a few bags of ginseng to replenish her body and keep her healthy and strong, but she always complained about drinking ginseng soup until she felt like vomiting. Some people just don't know how lucky they are, right? It’s all because of me, the older brother, who spoiled her. Alas, she pulled and dragged this ginseng on the ground. It's probably too dirty to eat. Please help me get rid of it."

"...Yes." Ginseng can be bought in bags? No wonder the room is filled with the strong fragrance of ginseng. The guest in this room must be a young lady from a wealthy family. They use the ginseng to play with and then throw it away when it gets dirty. What a waste! Later, he took it to the kitchen and asked the cook to make a pot of ginseng chicken soup for everyone to replenish themselves.

"I'm sorry for causing the commotion. We brothers and sisters are about to check out. I already left a silver for the inn's fee. I'll use the rest as a reward to give the second brother hot tea to calm his shock."

"Thank you, sir! Thank you, sir!" The waiter accepted it happily, and before exiting the room, he glanced at the little girl in the room, feeling slightly puzzled. It seemed like I only saw a male guest checking in last night. Where did the little girl come from? Forget it, it was probably because of the greeting from other waiters that he missed the female guest officer. Hee hee, it’s great to earn a ginseng plant and also earn money for tea.

Yaizhen made sure that the guy was gone, closed the door, and with a nice mocking smile on his lips, he turned to look at the ginseng.

It...she seems to be more delicate.

Was it because she was holding on to the tears that made her eyes clearer and biting her pink lips tremblingly, that made him have this illusion?

"Huh, someone almost become a ginseng chicken soup." He smiled and joked, trying to relieve her nervousness.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier that this would happen?" Her eyes were red.

"I thought you were often chased by ginseng pickers in the mountains and could handle it easily."

"I've never been chased by ginseng pickers! I was always the one playing tricks on them! If you keep the red rope around me, I won't be able to hide in the soil, and my life will be in danger!" She huffed, her cheeks turning red, the more Yaizhen look at it, the more it looks like a girl.

"When you enter a place full of human beings in a ginseng form, how do you expect them to react?" It's simply the highest level of ignorance, and no one can surpass it.

"Who would have thought of such a thing?!"

"The smart ones would."

The implication is that she is stup*d.

She wanted to retort, but her stance was too weak.

"Are you afraid? If you're scared, don't stay in the human city and ask for trouble."

"No, I want to see the human city!" She insisted. If she wasn't shaking so much, he might have believed her.

"Don't force yourself." He was still irritating her, and he conjured up a robe to dress himself, with thin dragon scale armor hidden under the robe.

"Don't force myself ?! I'm not afraid at all. Let's go to the human city immediately!"

She was so full of words, her waist was straight, but from the moment she stepped out of the room, she was like an eight-legged fish in the sea, with her hands tightly clinging to Yaizhen's arms, hanging around him, treating him like a driftwood, afraid of drifting off to far. If she hadn't been as light as cotton wool, he wouldn't be able to walk.

"Why do you have to force yourself to come when you are shaking like this? If you just want to delay your death, just say it and I'll directly promise you to take you back to Dragon Bone City later."

"I'm not delaying anything..." She retorted while suppressing her trembling body, but she hugged him tighter, wishing she could stick to him directly. "I want to see some novel things before I die, see some scenery I've never seen before, so that my death will not seem miserable. At least, I have been to the Human City and visited... I can brag about it in the underworld."

"In this case, hold your head high, don't be afraid, play as much as you want, call me if you see something interesting, and eat whatever delicious food you smell and want to eat. I won't be more than five steps away from you. If someone dares to touch you, I'll jump out and chop him to death. You're the medicinal material I want to bring back home, even if you have few roots." He put his palms against her slightly hunched back, and she felt his warmth, mixed with firm and steady strength.

She raised her eyes and looked at him, her eyes still very uneasy.

"Now...do I still look like a ginseng? Will humans know that I'm different from them? Will..." She touched her face and patted her head, for fear that some part of her "ginseng" self was showing.

"You look good, like a girl." He smiled, speaking the truth. "When someone asks about the smell of ginseng on your body, just tell them that you take a bath in ginseng soup, or simply ignore them."

"Why do I look like a girl? I'm not a female."

"You don't want to look like a woman? Why don't you be taller? Human beings are different from you. They're divided into male, female, old and young. If you don't want to appear different, you need to confirm your age and gender."

"Age? Age, right? I remember I lived for more than two hundred years..."

"Seventeen." He interrupted her and then corrected: "Sixteen." She looks really young, fourteen is better...

"I'm obviously talking about two hundred and seventy-four or seventy-seven..."

"Fourteen, woman, humans don't usually use the term 'female' " Okay, it's decided.

"I'm not only fourteen -"

"Fifteen, if it's more than that, they'll think you're lying."

"I am an old ginseng from the 274th year—"

"You are now a fifteen-year-old yellow-haired little girl. Do you have a name?"

"The great spiritual ginseng." She placed her hands on her hips proudly, her expression finally regaining some confidence, not as frightened as before.

"It's too long, and clearly tells humans that you are a very nourishing and fat ginseng." He sneered, glancing at her up and down. The ginseng leaves turned into jade ornaments, and the ginseng fruit was as bright as a natural ruby. Ginseng... The clothes with thin ribbons are still full of vitality, coupled with the palm-sized pink face, two words jumped his my mind, and he blurted out: "Ginseng baby."

"Yeah?" She was dumbfounded.

"Let's call you Shenwa." He decided arrogantly. Although he regretted it as soon as he said it, naming the medicinal materials he was about to eat was simply an id*otic act. The last thing he needed was to develop too many useless relationships with the ingredients. He should not have given her any way to survive from the beginning. Let alone kindly agree to fulfill her last wish...

I want to see some novel things and see some sceneries I've never seen before before I die, so that my death will not seem miserable. At least, I've been to the Human City and visited... I can brag about it in the underworld.

Recalling her words, the trace of regret in his heart that annoyed him for being so troubled disappeared completely. Forget it, don’t think too much, just do it, agree to it, just follow her wishes. Anyway, it's not like the others would have found all the ingredients already. The "Fu" clan was believed to be extinct. She would just end up locked up by Doctor Sting waiting for the rest of the ingredients. Why not let her play more and blame him less when she left.

"Shenwa?" She murmured repeatedly, but she couldn't really say she liked or disliked it. Seeing that the name had "ginseng" in it, she barely raised any objections and protests, and it was rare that she didn't talk back to him.

"Remember, fifteen years old, girl, Shenwa, surnamed Long."

"Why should the surname be Long?" She had a strong opinion at this point.

"The fake surname I use in the human world is Long." He has visited the human world hundreds of times, and he's no longer a stranger to it, just like walking into his own kitchen.

"What does that have to do with me?"

"You're pretending to be my sister. If you don't take my surname, then who's surname will you take?"

She pouted, very dissatisfied.

"Can't we have different surnames? I don't want to have the same surname as the bad guy who wants to eat me -"

"If you don't want my last name, let's just go back to the Dragon Bone City——"

"Okay, okay, okay, if your surname is Long, then my surname will be Long, if you want to call me Shenwa, then my name will be Shenwa, if you said I'm a girl, then I'll be a girl, if you think I look fifteen, you I'll be fifteen, and will be your sister. You have the final say!!"

"Be good." He patted her little head. I have seven younger brothers, but none of them are cute or coquettish. It's quite novel to have a younger sister. Yaizhen seems to now understand why his father always dreams of having a daughter.

She changed from tightly squeezing him to just grabbing his belt but still not daring to let go completely. Walking on the streets of the human city, the men and women who came towards her always looked like jackals, tigers and leopards. No matter whether their eyes were curious about the rich fragrance of ginseng on her body, or admiring her delicate and tender body, they all made her tremble in fear, especially since she could not escape at any time. Her uneasiness forced her fear to become deeper, and she wanted to shrink back, clinging back to his arm.

"Yai... Yaizhen, I want to go there..." She pointed to a corner of the market, where there was a square linen floor covered with many trinkets, including pottery dolls, copper bells, various sachets, jade ornaments, and children's toys, vases, etc., one or two children were throwing bamboo baubles into trinkets, and the bearded man would pass the baubles to the children whenever they got the trinkets. It looked so interesting.

"Go ahead." Yaizhen stopped outside a sword shop and looked at the dozens of weapons displayed outside the shop.

"Come with me."

"Go by yourself, I can see you here." He gave her a piece of silver and nudged her towards the store encouragingly.

"Let's go together..."

"If you don't dare to go, then don't go." He folded his arms across his chest, broke away from her tight little hand, and glared at her determinedly.

In order to catch her breath, she faced his sharp eyes and refused to admit defeat at all. "Just go! Don't follow me, huh!"

Shenwa turned around and walked to the ring stall. She imitated the behavior of children and handed the silver coin held in her trembling fingers to the bearded man. The bearded man then took a dozen bamboo rings. She spoke to the bearded man. Although she was talking very arrogantly, she still used her peripheral vision to glance at Yaizhen from time to time to see if he was within sight. Seeing that he was still there, she felt relieved.

"Little girl, stand behind the line before shooting." The bearded man shook the cattail leaf fan in his hand, and as soon as he made a sound, she was so frightened that she jumped to the wall pillar next to the bunk to hide. He told her again to stand behind the line. She looked down and found a line drawn on the ground. She thought she could go to the square linen and put the bamboo rings to the trinkets she wanted.

She stepped back behind the line, took a deep breath, and looked at the dazzling little things on the floor.

Okay, let’s try a dog clay doll first.

The first bamboo ring was tossed, and it was thrown in a beautiful arc in mid-air. It landed with a bang, still missing the dog clay doll by several inches.

Two or three more shots were thrown, and luck was clearly against her. It would either fly over or fall too far. D*mn it, she doesn’t want the clay dolls anymore. Brass bells are good, and they must sound nice when hung around her neck.

This time, she only tossed one bamboo ring to trap the copper bell.

When Shenwa took the tinkling copper bell from the bearded man's hand, she happily held it up in the air, shook it, and pulled her throat to show off, shouting: "Yaizhen! Yaizhen! Look, look! I got it -"

The copper bell was loud and clear, making tinkling noises.

Her laughter is more beautiful than a silver bell. How can it be compared to a rough copper bell?

The sun broke through the clouds and shed golden light, covering her body with brightness and dazzling beauty. The black luster of her hair, the translucent green of the ginseng leaves and jade, and the bright red of the ginseng fruit made her look pretty and cute.

Yaizhen, who was talking to someone from the sword shop, could not help but soften his eyebrows, but his words were still bad: "Are you a cow? Why are you so happy?"

"What does this have to do with cows?" She expressed confusion, her head tilted, and she looked very cute thinking hard.

As soon as she finished asking, she got the answer. The person who solved her doubts was not the smiling Yaizhen, but a big ox that was led by its owner walked leisurely through the street. It had a copper bell on its neck. Apart from the size difference, the one she has is basically made from the same mold.

Ding-dong, ding-dong, ding-dong... The copper bells on the cow's neck were ringing with the occasional long "moo" sound coming out of its mouth. It passed by Shenwa.

"You can open the brocade bag and put everything in it." Yaizhen said to the stunned Shenwa.

"Can I... is that okay?" She asked the bearded man, and she was worried that the bearded man would suddenly turn her back on her.

"Alas." The bearded man didn't bother to complain. He grabbed a bunch of small things, took Shenwa's little hand that was she was twisting, and stuffed it into her hand. He also picked up a wooden mallet ball, which is the most popular among children nowadays, and gave it to her.

"This...I didn't catch it." Shenwa was trembling and didn't dare to accept it.

"Send it to you." The bearded man waved his hand, and when he grinned, she realized that he was missing two front teeth. No wonder he looked serious and didn't like to smile, but now his smile was quite friendly.

"Take it and say thank you to the nice man." Yaizhen taught her. She hurriedly nodded three times and said many thanks. She put the trophies into the brocade bag and hung it on her elbow. The brocade bag was heavy. The harvest is bountiful. Yaizhen hooked her shoulders and dragged her away as he said, "I'm hungry. I'll take you to a restaurant to broaden your horizons."

"Restaurant?"

"The place where you eat is like an eighteenth level of h*ll for the ingredients to be cooked."

She jumped up, took five big steps away from him, almost bumping into a woman, and then jumped back to him in a hurry, looking embarrassed and helpless.

"I don't want to go-" She is the food!

"I'm not taking you to be cooked, what are you afraid of?" It was really fun to tease her, but it was not his original intention to scare her into tears, so Yaizhen changed the topic: "What does a ginseng eat?"

"Breeze and rain." She answered angrily.

"Then just sit beside me and drink some water later, and watch me enjoy my meal." He grinned evilly.

"You said you wanted to broaden my horizons for me, but in fact you just wanted to satisfy your own appetite!" she commanded.

"I am." Is she being polite to him and saying, "If you can't eat it, and I can't eat it either?" He was not a humble gentleman, so even if she glared at him resentfully, it would not damage his good appetite at all.

Shenwa's cheeks puffed up and he took her into a luxurious restaurant. On the plaque were written the words "Sixi Tower", on the right column hung the words "Centennial Incense" and on the left column "Millennial Fragrance". The taste is top notch."

As soon as she stepped in, the strong smell hit her nostrils, making her nauseous and wanting to retreat. The waiter in the restaurant greeted the two with a smile and came to show them their seats. Yaizhen was about to speak when Shenwa spoke first. — —

"Ugh, vomit, vomit, vomit, vomit, vomit."

With her head buried in his chest, she vomited all over him, something that was euphemistically called "spiritual ginseng tonic juice" but was actually "filth"!

— — — — — — — —

"I hate restaurants! Ugh."

Shenwa was soaking in the large wood washbasin, still complaining.

"They are all barbarians! Ugh."

The ginseng tentacles slapped the water surface, splashing water droplets all over the table, venting its anger.

"The signature dish is actually ginseng chicken soup*! There are several cups on every table! Every cup is full of life!"

"Are you trying to defend the chicken?" Yaizhen came back from the bathroom and saw her scrubbing herself on the table. He quickly bolted the door. He wanted to scold her for being so careless, but first he heard her angry words.

"I don't know the chicken!" She turned around abruptly, her face twisted with anger, and faintly stained with tears, which were the grievances suffered by the same kind. The ginseng son, Samson, did not have time to grow up and was unable to cultivate to become a rare spiritual ginseng before it was eaten in people's stomachs. There is no greater tragedy in the world than this.

"If you want to take a bath, be more reserved. You don't take baths on the table. If someone opens the door and bumps into you, won't you be waiting to become another cup of ginseng chicken soup?"

"How dare you say that?! You brought me to a place like this with bad intentions! You must want to drink ginseng chicken soup in front of me to show me, right?!" Shenwa pointed at him angrily.

"That's a good idea. I'll call the waiter. I'll ask him to bring two cups to rinse your mouth with. "

"You dare!"

Of course he was just teasing her, and he was not that horrible, but he did order a table of food to be eaten in the room, and just then she vomited at him, so he had to temporarily book a guest room to clean himself up.

"Stop soaking. Wait after the food was served. You look like a pot of soup."

"Humph." She slowly climbed up, like a puppy, shaking off the water drops, and got off the wooden basin. Because her body was wet, she didn't put her clothes on, and did not want to drag the cumbersome fabric. She was naked and swaying around in front of him, not knowing how to cover up——

Yaizhen could see everything.

The body is fair and pink, with a well-proportioned frame, slender arms and legs, more than a graceful figure, but not enough curves, a small waist, and small hips. Some large areas of her skin has a cherry blossom-like color, dripping with crystal water. It's as if her body is covered with glass beads, forcing Yaizhen to squint to avoid their dazzling light.

"Dry your body." Yaizhen's voice became deeper.

"It'll be dry once the wind blows, why do I need to wipe it?" Talking back to him has become her instinct and pleasure.

He pulled a thin quilt, wrapped it around her body, and started to dry her himself.

"Be gentle! You want to rub my ginseng skin off, don't you?" Rude man - no, it's Rude Dragon!

"Rub it off just enough to serve as a dish!" After drying her, he started to put her back into human the clothes.

"You love eating so much! I'll leave the whole basin of bath water for you to drink!" A spiritual ginseng has been soaked in it, and it's not comparable to ordinary bath water. It's a reward for him, so there's no need to thank her for her kindness!

"Are you crazy? You want me to drink the bath water?!"

"Aren't ginseng wine and ginseng chicken soup also the bath water of ginseng? I see everyone is enjoying themselves drinking it!"

What a bunch of nonsense.

The two bickered for a while, but the waiter knocked on the door and brought hot dishes to the table. Among them, the signature ginseng and chicken soup was not found. Most of them were seafood like fish, shrimp, shellfish and crab, which shows that Yaizhen loves fresh food.

Yaizhen didn't bother to coax her to eat and just sat down to pick up vegetables and rice to feed himself. In just a short moment, he had finished most of the dishes.

Seeing that he was eating boldly, as if the food on the table were extremely delicious, she swallowed and made a slurping sound. "I want to eat too."

"Didn't you say ginseng's only eat water and breeze? Go and pour yourself a glass of water and sip it slowly." He pushed the teapot and cup in front of her, asked her to drink as much as she wanted, and then directly insert the ginseng whiskers into the teapot to suck it dry.

"I can eat something else. The ginseng needs fertilizer to grow taller and stronger."

"There is no fertilizer on the table, only in the toilet."

She made a face at him. Ignoring him, she went ahead and eat the fish tail meat herself.

Good, good, strange taste...

Sour, sweet, crispy and tender, the taste is difficult to describe.

"Hmm..." She wanted to express her opinion, but her mouth was full of food.

"Eat, let me rest for a while and have a quiet and peaceful meal." Seeing that she couldn't use chopsticks, he didn't force her, letting her use both hands to pick up shrimps and dig rice, and her little mouth was busy chewing.

She is curious about everything and has the courage to try. Every dish is her first experience. She doesn’t know the name of the dish or the ingredients. The usage is not important. She will not nag and ask questions. Anyway, she will eat first.

Yaizhen was full and poured a cup of hot tea to sip. She was responsible for cleaning up the leftovers. From her face, he could see the four words "satisfied" vividly displayed. She carefully took the last trace of sweet crab meat from the crab claws. If her teeth were hard enough, she would crush the crab shell and swallow it.

That crab can rest in peace. She almost stuck her tongue in and licked it thoroughly. The meat was gone and the juice was not spared.

She emptied all the food on the plate. Under Yaizhen's strong demands and the coercion, she pressed a pair of greasy little hands into the basin of ginseng washing water and scrubbed them clean as new. She ignored his glare. She burped several times happily.

It was the first time in her life that the "Spiritual Ginseng" understood what it felt like to be full. It was not just about being full. In just one day, she had experienced many first-time experiences. The first time I stepped into a place full of humans; the first time I paid silver to exchange for a bamboo ring; the first time I got the joy of getting a trinket; the first time I ate food prepared by humans; the first time I was with someone, wandering around without any purpose...

She pursed her lips and smiled, and without waiting for him to dry her hands, she shook them randomly, jumped onto the bed eagerly, opened the full brocade bag, poured out everything, and happily picked them up one by one to look at, play with, and put them together. She didn't fully understand what the thing was, so she naturally had to ask the dragon next to her who knew more about everything than she did.

Yaizhen is not cold but he wasn't exactly warm either. He explained that the cheap fake jade bracelet is put on the wrist, the money bag can be used to hold silver, the beads are used for hairpins, the bead chain is used to decorate the appearance, and the bronze mirror can be used at any time. According to the photo, the small green round things in her little pouch were called earrings. She asked further and when she heard that her earlobes had to be pierced before she could wear them, she couldn't help but look frightened and muttered, "It sounds so painful." The bag includes a small bamboo flute that beeps with a monotonous but loud tone, and a croquet ball that is just a toy to deceive a three-year-old child - they are all worthless things, but she can actually listen to them attentively and look at them with a smile on her face, as if it was so rare. She kept touching them again and again, looking at them again and again.

Her mind and greed are as big as an ant's, so she's easily satisfied. You don't need gold, silver, or jewelry to make her smile. Also, she is as smart as an ant - how dare she give him a cow bell!

"This is the first time I have ever gotten my hands on human things. It's so precious. You don't have to say thank you. Hang it up quickly!" Shenwa said. From now on, you can hear the ringing of the copper bell around his neck from a distance, before anyone arrives, the sound comes first, jingle bell, jingle bell, how loud the bell is!

Yaizhen's eyes were cold and he was slashing at her with his gaze, and he wanted to crush the d*mn thing she had put in his palm.

"Keep it for yourself!" He threw it back to her without mercy.

She muttered inaudibly and looked at him, as if she was scolding him secretly. The first few sentences were indeed true. She scolded him for being ignorant, bad-mouthed and bad-hearted, and scolded him for trampling on her feelings. But the more she scolded, the more her lips trembled... She slowed down, and the sound from her mouth becomes soft and weak...

Besides, I won’t need it in the future...

Yaizhen heard, or rather saw, her lonely and depressed expression.

In the not-too-distant "future", she will indeed have no need for the copper bell or the miscellaneous rubbish in the brocade bag. When she dies, she will be alone, and she will be able to take nothing with her.

Yaizhen refused to let any soft-heartedness show. All he needed to do was to let her survive for a couple of days and see the world for a few more days. Then, he would take her back to Dragon Bone City and throw her to the stingray doctor. Her happiness, fear, or sadness are all her own business and have nothing to do with him.

"We are just renting a room temporarily to clean up the mess you vomited all over me. The afternoon is still very long. Let's go for a walk. Maybe you'll feel satisfied after playing all morning. You'll have no regrets in this life and will be willing to go back to the city with me.”

"It's not enough! I want to go shopping again!" Shenwa jumped up and quickly got out of bed, as if she was afraid that he would change his mind. The haze that had just occupied her heart quickly dissipated, and the smile returned to her face.

"Pack up your things and let's go." D*mn it, he actually felt that this ginseng became more and more delicate and feminine the more he looked at her! She's obviously a male. She doesn't even have breasts...

The knick-knacks on the bed were swept back into the brocade bag, knotted and put away, and pulled into her arms.

"I don't want to walk past the smelly building anymore. I'm going down this way." She pointed to the window facing the street, and would rather jump down than smell the aroma of ginseng chicken soup that filled the Sixi Tower Restaurant.

"That's nonsense, just pinch your nose."

"The smell is so strong, I'll definitely throw up again."

What a troublesome ginseng.

He doesn’t mind her vomiting again, but he does mind being vomited by her again!

He pinched her nose so hard that she screamed in pain and slapped his hand away.

"What are you doing? It hurts!" Shenwa covered her red nose and cast a dissatisfied look.

"That's enough." Yaizhen grabbed the ribbon tied tightly on her right arm and led her out.

"Stop grabbing my ginseng tentacle! If you do this again, I'll pull your dragon beard too!"

"The level of spells is different. My dragon whiskers are well hidden and you can't find them."

The two of them were bickering and walking down the long wooden stairs. She was surprised that there was no smell in the whole building. When they came to the second floor, the restaurant was still full of guests, and those terrible and dazzling white cups were still placed in everyone's hands. She couldn't smell the ginseng chicken soup that made her nauseous.

Is her nose broken?

The wings of her nostrils were working hard, and she breathed in big mouthfuls of air, but she couldn't breathe in any smell.

She was distracted when she bumped into another young girl who jumped out of the small room rashly, shouting "I'm so hungry, I want to eat". Yaizhen took out his hand to pull Shenwa into his arms to save her from falling down, but Shenwa didn't understand why he held the back of her head to prevent her from raising her head from his chest. The strength of his palm was strong. Her cheek was completely pressed against his thin dragon scale armor - it was not a robe with armor pieces sewn on, but genuine green dragon scales, which was a part of his real body. Somehow, this inexplicable random thought made her suddenly feel hot.

"It smells so good..." The girl with a black and red dress who collided with Shenwa was motionless. The girl had a deep smile on her round face and sniffed loudly without concealing it. Breathing in the amazing ginseng fragrance on Shenwa, and looked at her like a seasoned gourmet, as if you she have smelled the best in the world.

"Yai... Yaizhen..." She was about to be pressed into his body, squeezing her face. The hard dragon scales scratched her so much that she cried out for him to let go.

"The smell of spiritual ginseng——" The round-faced girl was surprised and happy. She smelled it again and became more convinced. "It's the smell of spiritual ginseng! She, she, she..."

"Let's go!" Yaizhen didn't pay much attention. He hugged Shenwa tightly and started to leave. As soon as the round-faced girl called out the word "Lingshen", Shenwa's body became stiff and she was carried away by Yaizhen. .

"Wait! She's a spiritual ginseng, right?" The round-faced girl hurriedly stopped in front of the two of them, chirping: "Where did you find it? I've always wanted to eat one to see how sweet a spiritual ginseng tastes! I've tried to catch one several times, but I can't catch them. How did you do it? Teach me, teach me. How about I buy the spiritual ginseng from you? Don't leave, don't leave yet -- "

Without even glancing at her, Yaizhen bypassed the round-faced girl and went straight downstairs. But Shenwa didn't dare to raise her head, holding her breath and burying her head in Yaizhen's chest. She was so frightened.

"I... I was recognized -" she whispered.

"Shhh." He asked her to calm down. After paying, he quickened his pace to leave. The round-faced girl chased after him, still yelling.

"Well, then, can you tell me how to catch them? They swooped into the soil so fast. No matter how fast I moved, I couldn't catch them. I have eaten all kinds of ginsengs in my life, but I have never eaten a spiritual ginseng —— Xiao Dao... Xiao Dao, you came just in time! I saw a spiritual ginseng!" She held her arm with a man and asked him to help her chase the spiritual ginseng. The man was holding a large bowl of noodle soup in his hand. He was surprised that she, who loved to eat, could ignore a sumptuous looking bowl of noodles, which shows how attractive the spiritual ginseng is to her.

The man called Xiao Dao followed the direction of her finger and could only see Yaizhen's strong back and the fluttering skirt of the person in his arms.

"I didn't see any spiritual ginseng."

"That man's arms - no, he should be a dragon -" The moment the word "dragon" came out of the girl's mouth, it was covered by Xiao Dao.

He warned in a low voice: "Have you forgotten where you are?" In the Xixi Tower, he called the spiritual ginseng "Ling Shen" without any restraint, did she want to expose the fact that she was not a human being?!

They return to Sixi Tower every hundred years. People and things have changed, there are no old friends here anymore, and the familiar faces have long since passed away. They found a job as cooks here again, would work for a few years, would eventually leave again, and come back after another hundred years.

Here, they are an ordinary couple. The husband works hard. He has first-class kn*fe skills, and is a good cook. The wife... is good for nothing except eating.

"But... the spiritual ginseng...the ultimate dream...I've tried catching a spiritual ginseng hundreds of times and always come back empty-handed..." How can you be calm when you finally encounter a treasure like this?

Smell the aroma, it's so strong and charming with a sweet taste. Ordinary ginseng is definitely not capable of this. She really wants to eat it. A small ginseng root will do.

"I only saw him holding one person." It was impossible to tell whether he was a man or a woman.

"Spiritual ginseng can turn into a human form. I heard that only ginseng that has been practicing for more than a hundred years can have this ability. It will also be doubled..."

Xiao Dao held her back as she tried to catch up with Yaizhen, and sighed.

"Why do you need to eat a spiritual ginseng to replenish your health? I feed you six meals a day. I take great pains to cook you meals and take into account the quality of fruits, vegetables, meat, and grains I use. They are nutritious and balanced. I want you to eat full and healthy. Isn't it enough?”

"What you cook are always delicious. I'm always full, but I'm greedy..." She can already imagine what the spiritual ginseng would taste like of cooked by Xiao Dao. Just thinking about it made her salivate.

"Now that it's in human form, please don't covet it anymore. It worked so hard to cultivate for hundred of years." His eyes was full of warning and said, "Stop chasing her." He led her back to the staff dining area of Sixi Tower.

The pot of noodle soup with vegetables, meat, and eggs was steaming hot, and the smoke was curling up. She pouted, her eyes still falling in the direction where Yaizhen disappeared, thinking about the delicious ginseng. Xiao Dao picked up the noodles for her, blew them to cool, and fed them to her mouth. Of course, the taste is still very good, but if the ginseng was in the soup, it will be even more delicious...

Just as she was thinking about regrets and resentments, she felt a warm touch on her lips. She almost immediately opened her mouth greedily, devouring the hot lips on hers, tasting them and sucking them.

Hmm... It's a pity that I didn't eat the ginseng, but Xiao Dao's mouth is also delicious.

Otherwise, forget about the fragrant ginseng for the time being, and seriously enjoy a mouthful of noodle soup and a kiss with Xiao Dao...

"She's not chasing me anymore, right? Why... why was I recognized? Have I not changed for the better? Have I exposed my ginseng whiskers?" Shenwa repeatedly checked her whole body, wondering why she was exposed when she passed by someone.

"The problem is not with you, but with that woman. She's not an ordinary human being."

"What?"

"She looks familiar. I think I've seen her somewhere..." Yaizhen couldn't remember it. He held his chin and tried very hard to dig the depths of his memory.

"I think I've seen her before! In Tianshan... when?" Shenwa imitated his actions and sat side by side on the steps of someone else's house. Yaizhen held his head with one hand but she used both of her hands, holding her delicate face with two palms, her head still tilted to one side, the nose he had just pinched was bright red - later she found out that he casted a spell on her nose to stop her from smelling the chicken ginseng soup. She couldn't decide whether he was being considerate or just simply doesn't want any more hassle - thinking about it seriously, he seemed innocent.

"With your little brain, what big things can you remember?"

"But you've been thinking about it for so long, and you haven't remembered who she is." He had the nerve to laugh at her.

"At least I know she's not a human being." This alone is countless times better than Shenwa.

"I know that too." She said randomly.

Her ruffian little face makes him so angry. He really misses the poor little girl who was trembling in his arms just now. She was so weak, so docile, and so wholeheartedly dependent on him.

"She will not be the only one who would want to eat you because of your fragrant aroma."

The best way is to take her back to Dragon Bone City immediately, so as to avoid trouble in the future - it's amazing that he stopped himself from saying this.

Because he knows that as soon as he voices it out, someone will make a sad face and shed tears.

"That's expected. A spiritual ginseng is a good thing and is rare and valuable. Everyone wants to have one." She raised her chin with pride.

"Yeah, I'm so proud." He agreed sourly. Did she think he was complimenting her? He disliked the trouble she caused!

"Yaizhen... Yaizhen, what are they doing over there?" Her attention was quickly drawn away by the new things on the street, and the experience of meeting the strange girl was forgotten.

Yaizhen admires her ability to forget things very easily. It should be said that she's truly like a child, crying and laughing, coming and going like a gust of wind, and falling out quickly. Unlike her, Yaizhen will not put aside important matters temporarily and just have fun.

Of course, he and she cannot be the only two aliens in the human world. They can pretend to be humans and sneak in, and other monsters can do the same. For monsters, a spiritual ginseng is a magical elixir that is promising but hard to catch. There are too many rumors about spiritual ginsengs, which promotes them too highly, especially that of immortals. For example, eating one spiritual ginseng is better than practicing a hundred years of skill; Spirit ginseng cures all kinds of diseases all over the world, and there are ghost stories about how the dead can come back to life after eating it...

Rumors always contain a bit of truth and lies, but believers always believe in them, and the majority of monsters believe in them, which means that the longer he takes her with him, the more likely she will be coveted. It's not that he has worries about having to deal with a large number of gluttonous temptresses. He's born with a love of k*lling and fighting. If someone is willing to come to his door to test his strength, he's happy to oblige. It's just that this ginseng baby has no ability to protect itself. What if...

Just in case?

Is he questioning his skills?! With him here, there is no "just in case"?!

He will definitely be able to protect her.

Correction, he can definitely protect her before she goes into the pot to make soup.

This thought doesn’t seem very satisfying...

There was a tightness in his chest, as if he were angry at someone who had done something stup*d or thought about something stup*d. There's a depressing feeling stuck in his heart that he can neither swallow nor spit out.

"How long are you going to be in a daze?" Shenwa's face suddenly came close to his eyes, just a few inches away from hitting the bridge of his proud nose.

She squatted opposite him, and the ginseng fragrance rushed in, sneaking in through his nose, his skin, and his scales, occupying his lungs, blood, and thoughts. Even if he stopped breathing, the fragrance would break his tough exterior.

He suddenly felt angry.

"Can you please stop being so fragrant?! Do you want to announce to the whole world that there's a plump and tender ginseng plant here? Come and grab it quickly?!"

She was scolded inexplicably, and she didn't understand why he was so angry. She was born with the fragrance, and it was not her choice to have it or not. For a moment, she could only stare at him with wide eyes, innocently. In the end, Yaizhen realized that it was unfair to express his anger at Shenwa, and his voice softened with weakness.

"...I was a little dizzy and got overwhelmed by your aroma, I'm sorry." He wiped his face and apologized in a rare low voice.

"If you think I'm too fragrant, use magic to make me less fragrant. You should be able to do that, right? Or use that trick to make everyone's noses in the human city dull. If I can stop the fragrance from emitting from my body, I would do it for you in a heartbeat. Save us a lot of trouble."

"Humans are not a threat. Even if they smell your fragrance, I can make up an excuse to trick them. The problem is the monster..." Yaizhen really hates seeing her sad face, her eyes and mouth drooped. He's not scolding her, nor is he angry that she smelled good, but her fragrance was causing trouble and disturbance in his body, coupled with his own inexplicable melancholy, which made him bark at her in anger. It was his fault. "Forget it, let's not talk about it anymore. Didn't you just see something?" Although they haven't been together for a long time, he had already figured out her temper. As long as the conversation changed slightly, she would immediately regain her bright and excited face.

"It's over there! It's so lively." She hurriedly pulled him up, ran a few steps forward, and pointed at the crowd of people on the other side of the river bank. The crowds of people hindered their view, but the fiery red cloth was blown wildly by the wind. There was a snapping sound, and the word "Martial Arts" was written in big letters on it, which really pleased Yaizhen's eyes.

Martial arts competition, there is nothing he likes most in his life than this.

Is there any other time, month, day, or place in the world where a fight can be fought openly and there will be people clapping and applauding on the sidelines so that the winner can accept the cheers and praises of everyone like a hero?

Just now!

It just so happened that he was a little irritable and depressed for unknown reasons. It was good for his physical and mental health to have a few scapegoats to let him vent his anger.

Yaizhen thought her legs were too short and she couldn't walk fast enough, so he picked her up horizontally, jumped across the several-foot wide river that ran through the city, and flew into the air with what humans consider "extreme lightness".

Who's excited now?

Shenwa spat softly, feeling that she had just been ridiculed by him in vain.

At this time, on the martial arts stage, the opponent was dripping with sweat, and he couldn't stop fighting. Who was this vigorous man who punched whoever stood in front of him?!

He obviously promised to accompany her to play in the human city and help her fulfill her dying wish, but she's not the one who's having fun!

Shenwa was very dissatisfied and sat on the bench under the stage, kicking her legs. Fortunately, the girl sitting in the back watching the show gave her a stick of red ginseng candy, which was much larger than her ginseng fruit and wrapped in sweet and shiny molasses. It tastes sweet and sour, keeping her from getting bored and falling asleep.

Her pink tongue sucked on the candy, and every time her eyes met the stern gaze on the stage, she would use her lips to urge, "Come on down," and the moment he pumped his fist, he would reply with his eyes, "I haven't had enough yet." The next time she threatened him, "Then I'm going to escape." It was a great opportunity. She would be a fool not to run away. Even if she couldn't escape due to the red rope he tied on her body, at least she would have a chance to hide so that he couldn't find her. His reaction was to kick the human beings who were fighting him with one kick, and clearly told her with his actions: "If you dare, I will catch you back immediately, and you will bear the consequences when the time comes."

What could be the consequences? He would definitely rush back to the Dragon Bone City, cook her, and takeaway the trip to the human city that he generously rewarded her with. It wouldn't matter whether she regretted it or not, it wouldn't matter.

Does she dare to challenge his anger?

If she dared, she would not just sit in the audience and eat candies while watching him b*lly weak humans savagely.

He was sure that she couldn't run away, so he allowed her to leave.

How long will the fight last? She wanted to go somewhere else.

Yaizhen is too strong, why should the majestic dragon son use all his strength to fight with the little human? Almost every male who jumped onto the ring was knocked down by him within two moves, and no one could match up to ten moves with him. As far as she was concerned, Yaizhen was still capable of winning even if his hands were tied behind his back.

Yaizhen didn't even use his dragon sword. He faced the various weapons of the male human with his bare hands. The human clothes that were in the way were removed and tied tightly to his waist, and the cold and green thin armor hidden inside was generously exposed. The scales were dazzling in color, covered with anger. The dragon scales he brought into the world when he was born were part of him, so how could they become a burden?

Shenwa looked at the scales and felt a little dizzy.

What a beautiful color.

She saw him spin and leap again, with his black hair tied high to draw a beautiful arc on the back of his head. His hair spread wildly, dancing across his sharp but smiling eyes, and his confident and proud lips. At the moment, Shenwa couldn't take her eyes away, her eyes fixed on his figure. He bared his white teeth, smiled low, raised his eyebrows slightly, swept his legs, and kicked the male who had played with him into the crowd of people in the audience.

With a bold and confident frivolous smile, he looked down at everyone with a strong and domineering look on his facial features. She had been walking around the human city for a few days and had seen many faces. No one could compare to Yaizhen's majestic appearance. He always moved with a sense of gracefulness. Tiancheng's momentum will be eclipsed by anyone standing next to him.

"Brother, I'll give you a chance to pick out a weapon. You won't get any advantage with your bare hands." The new giant opponent bowed first and then fought.

"No need." Yaizhen clapped his hands and spread them out, showing that he could fight against the iron chain ball with them.

"Suit yourself!" The giant man shouted loudly, and hit the ball, which was powerful enough to smash the wall of a house.

"Be careful, Yaizhen!" Shenwa shouted suddenly. She couldn't sit still on the bench and jumped up, almost climbing onto the stage.

There was a crisp sound, a whirlpool of air that shook the support of the arena. The black sunken ball that was swinging in mid-air was intercepted by Yaizhen with just two moves, stopping the ball's brute force attack.

His free left hand still had time to brush the flying hair, and then patted the black-colored ball, gently, without even a "pop" sound. The black-colored ball seemed as fragile as molded by sand. Shattered, turning into pieces of iron powder...

Where is the arrogant giant opponent? He fell down in the middle of the field, staring at the scene in front of him with dumbfounded eyes. The cold sweat all over his body was not caused by playing hard, but was caused by the chills in his heart and his teeth chattering with fear. Then the whites of his eyes rolled up and he fell to the ground.

Yaizhen waved away the iron fillings stained on his palms and snorted.

"Have you fainted? I haven't even touched a hair on your body."

The audience applauded like thunder, and the man in blue robe quickly asked again.

"Is there anyone who wants to die... No, are other other heroes willing to come on stage and give it a try?"

There was silence.

"Really?" He asked again.

Everyone is silent.

The man in the blue robe turned around, cupped his fists and asked the master: "Master, do you want to teach him personally?" It was originally agreed that in order to win the last opponent would be the master.

"...No need." His hands on the chair handles were still shaking at this time, and he didn't want to face the man in the field at all.

"Then, the winner is determined! Second Young Master Long!"

Shenwa clapped her hands along with everyone in the audience, hehe, I'm so proud of you.

When she met Yaizhen's eyes again, she held her thumbs straight up, her mouth opened and closed widely, as if she was just a little fish emerging from the water: Great! Great!

When I get the prize, I’ll give it to you when I get down, Yaizhen thought. He's only interested in swords and weapons. He has no shortage of other things. He wondered what the grand prize is for winning the martial arts competition?

"Thank you fellow villagers for your testimony and participation. Our Wu Chengfeng from Wujiazhuang is really a dragon among people. She even has the word "dragon" in her name! I hope all the folks will come to the wedding banquet next month and share it with us. Thank you!”

The big red banner was turned over, but the word "competition" was still there. The lower part that was twisted by the wind and wrapped around the pole was finally revealed when the next gust of wind blew ---

Martial arts competition to recruit a groom.
